i don't know how anyone can justify giving a five to a game that is so repetitive that it makes you fight every boss the exact same way twice - and your arch-enemy a whopping three times - but there you have it

@vulture755

Ever considered a new hobby?

I agree with vulture, and I'll go a step further. I don't know how anyone can justify giving a five to a game that came out for a last gen system, a year and a half ago, and now has worse controls and the same content. It really doesn't make any sense.

do you guys hear them. it makes up for it. it like vice city stories it was for psp and had almost THE SAME grapics as the psp when it went to the PS2 and it still did ok. if the game is good few same details doesnt kill the game.

Whatever happened to X-play reviews having comedy??? Anyways, Okami is better on PS2, the Wii version is frustrating. XP

why do you think they have a games for rich bastards segment? some games are just pioneers with great storylines, even if they came from last gen systems and you've played them before, its just that good of a game by itself not comparing it to the first game.

I agree with pippin_evil_genius. Okami is way better on the PS2. The Wii controls will just complicate things.

The wii controls complicate everything

Hey, Okami is a Good game if you're interested in Japanese Folk Stories which is Interesting and the game delivers a very unique experience. The Ps2 version is still better with the tight controls

the wii controls are only hard for little kids whose motor functions haven't fully developed yet.

What doesnt make sense is how this is the same game from PS2 with absolutely no new content and they say that both are great and both got 5, yet RE4 was hailed as the best game they played and when it was re-released with new content on the Wii it only got 4, what makes this no new content version yet the new content RE4 only got 4?

Well, im not a big fan of the caligrafy or however the graphics should be way better than the ps2 version but for the ps2 version more controllable. I would still give it a 5 out of 5.

Yeah, but if Halo 1 were to come out for the Wii, could you still justifiably give it a five out of five when Halo 3 got a five for having everything superior to the first one? It might still be a good game, but it can't keep up with next gen games... even if Halo might be one of the few franchises that could.

It's funny to see people say the wii controls are not tight when they haven't even play it. And I do mean everyone hear commenting. Has for the whole re-release in a new console I think it doesn't matter if it gets a five, if it's really good you can't change that just because is old cuz then you would say every retro game out there sucks just because is old and they should die.. Which is definitely not true. And for people like me that will play it the first time on wii, we will not notice if it' tighter or not the controls compared to the ps2 version.

It would really, really be cool to see an Okami for Ds or Psp. I think so because if they had it for DS you could use the stylus to paint and would give u a lot better reaction time instead of the slowness on the ps2. And with Wii -for me- it is difficult to make a perfect line or circle... It would be awesome for Psp because of the more ADVANCED graphics system on the handheld, you could play an awesome game ANYWHERE. The people at Capcom will make lots more money if they release Okami on a handheld.
