 New Apple Patent Similar to Wii-mote

Apple has filed for a patent that is shockingly similar to the Nintendo patent on their Wii-mote. It's unclear what the final use of the patent will be, and its common knowledge that giant companies, especially Apple patent all kinds of technology and developments, just so that other companies can't grab an upperhand on the big guy.

There are also references to videogame applications in the patent application, so who knows.

This is somewhat strange for me (as possibly the only existent Mac and Nintendo exclusive gamer out there). I mean, should I be upset that Apple is stepping on Nin's toes or should I be excited at the possibilities of an Apple gaming system...

The pimp Apple is committing the 7th deadly sin of GREED as well as covetousness because Nintendo came out with the motion sensing technology 1st and all corporations copycat all of the other corporations that are making real money and this burning LUST is the only concern unfortunately but BABYLON is going to fall very soon according to the Holy Bible,you feel me?

So by your definition the world economy should collapse? Also, I don't really see an end to greed because everything revolves around it. By a very broad definition, living is greedy because it takes from others, so in that sense you want everyone to parish. And it'd be nice if you could find a new verse to reference.

Since you were all gung-ho on the PS3, wouldn't Sony be guilty of the same thing with their motion sensing six-axis? I mean come on, you can't just switch from being a ps3 fanboy to a jesus fanboy that quickly.

Speaking of iPhones, the online Apple Store shows the item as no longer available. I wonder how quickly we'll see that 3G version? Also, can I trade in my old one? Ha ha, oh well.

or maybe apple and nintendo are both tired of microsoft and sony's BS and they're gonna team up to create the WhiteGameBox or I-ntendo, whatever you want to call it it will be super user friendly with almost no load times and non-upgradeable hardware. they will flood our homes with stylish glowing white boxes that do strange otherworldly things. then before you know it mario is kickin' back eating apples and poopin' gold.
