'GTA IV' DLC To Be In San Andreas?

We all know that downloadable content exclusive to the 360 is coming maybe this fall for Grand Theft Auto IV... but what will the content consist of?

Maybe, just maybe, it will be set in San Andreas. The DLC is said to consist of entire cities, and if so, San Andreas is a logical choice. There's that, and the below plane ticket a user of the GTA Social Club site found:

Looks like a ticket to San Andreas issued to one Niko Bellic. Hmmm...interesting.

overall san andreas was a better game, gta4 is awesome in every way but its missing something? Hot coffee?

What? San Andreas better than GTA IV?

GTA IV is, by FAR, better than all prev GTA games.

I hated San Andreas. Vice City was awesome. And for me, it comes in 2nd.
I'd play the origional GTA before playing San Andreas again.

That is going to be one BIG download. I mean Liberty city is smaller than san andreas... That's like a whole new game! This is going to be some expensive DLC!

What couldn't find any real 360 news so you had to make something up....

Two words: not happening

On the other hand that would be the only thing that would make GTA4 relevant in the fall... but still not happening... it's already been said to be episodic content.... that's not completely new city.

I kinda agree with singlecrow but I like all three for different reasons Vice City I liked the soundtracks and Ray voice acting brought out the character. San Andreas for being able to change fighting styles and looks by getting tattoos, hair cuts, and working out. and GTA4 for damn near everything lol. But my jaw dropped when I got a hooker in my car. Pure detail I love it!

I saw a commercial for GTA4 yesterday that said episodic content would be available in the fall. so it almost definitely is coming in the fall.

but I disagree that they would be putting out an entire city as the content. It took years to make the Liberty City in GTA4 and I don't think they'd do a whole city for DLC. They'd make it a new game.

They may do more missions, but not a whole city. Sorry people, that's ludicrous.

I just crapped myself thinking of the possibility, I know it probably is not going to happen but seriously just considering the possibility is awesome. Can you imagine a GTA game where you can go to the airport and catch a flight to the west coast or even the south?? All three major cities in their entirety in one game??

it'd be funny if you were in the airport in GTA and going to the DLC city and there was a room full of ps3 users being detained. totally ridiculous but pretty funny.

San Andreas would be great, but honestly it was not better than IV thats a little crazy.. But I did like it better than Vice City trying to keep CJ ib shape and stuff got a little tedious after a while though..

I kind of had a feeling that GTA V (or whatever the next GTA is), would be in San Andreas, because they mention Vinewood and San Andreas a lot in the game, and so far in the game(that I've played) I got only one mention of Vice City. I didn't think about DLC to be honest. I personally don't think so, because what would they do for the next game?

I doubt we will get all of San Andreas if the rumor is true but maybe city's like Los Santos and then San Fierro a couple months later and Las Venturas a couple months after that. God damn that would be nice

GTA 4s ending sucked balls they need to make some serious new missions availabe for me to keep playing, but hey I dont matter I'm just one gamer with a grudge. Otherwise this game is great. But it loses major points for having a bad ending.

I think a city in san andreas is possible. It'll be 1 whole city not split by rivers which would make it somewhat smaller. Maybe it'll continue with 1 of the many loose ends in gta 4 like Dwayne (maybe something gangster related in Los Santos),Gerry,or maybe that russian guy who Niko owes money to cause last time I checked he didnt die. Also I know they can make a good sized citythat won't completely eat all your H.D. space because it's been proven it can be done with Elder scrolls shivering isles that was 1/4 the size of oblivion and fit perfectly in your H.D. Maybe that also hints a price? (2400mp or $30)

p.s the ticket says liberty city to san andreas. When you buy a ticket it says city to city this ticket is city to state. Maybe rockstar will revert san andreas back to a single city and get rid of san fierro. So in the end when the two DLC's (whcih are EXCLUSIVE to XBOX 360) are out we will have Liberty City, San Andreas, and Vice City in one game thus bringing us back to how GTA originally was, all 3 cities in 1 game...on Xbox 360

Just think about it, it cost $100 million to make GTAIV for two consoles, so what do you think are the possibility's for DL content for just one console with $50 million from MS and whatever amount of dough Rockstar, i'm sure, will fork out due to the fact that it will also be proffitable to them.

And as far as it being to big? you can fit GTAIV on a 20 gig 360 harddrive so...

This isn't the first hint we've gotten that DLC might be new cities.

Sure it would be a big download, but nobody says its going to be the ENTIRE city as seen in the last GTA game. More likely than not it would be just a small newly designed area that fits the needs of whatever the story is for the content. Perhaps it's only the size of one Liberty City borough, or smaller.

I also saw the commercial where it said the DLC would be available in the fall. The game is slow and boring as hell as it is, and now they think people will still be playing it in the fall. Day late and a dollar short. COD4 still owns GTA4. I would buy DLC for COD4 in the fall but not for GTA4. The gameplay looks great, the cutscenes look straight out of the PS2 still, and the overall experience is simply B O R I N G. If I had never played COD4, I might be forced to appreciate GTA4 a little more. Bring on Battlefield and Socom. Haze is lame.

I like GTA IV better than any other GTA, I just wish there was some countryside to it, which is why I hope to god this becomes reality. Hell I wouldn't mind Vice City either I'd really just like to see what it will be like, I doubt there would be any mission involved. I'd like to see how much things have changed over the years for san andreas. And for the record Niko is the most badass character ever, right there with Solid Snake.

I'd rather they included the ability to purchase property (I haven't beaten the game yet so it might be an end game thing) but I hope this is true, SA was awesome
