Activision's Sales up 88%
Posted By: Brian Leahy - Monday, May 05, 2008 11:50 AM

Analyst Michael Pachter believes that Activision's stock will climb coming off of an 88% retail sales increase and the pending merger with Vivendi.

The merger should finish within the next few weeks and Activision Blizzard will be official. Stockholders will have to approve the move, but it is expected for them to do so as they like money.

Pachter believes, however, that their sales will decrease over 2008, but the company will be able to grow anyway.

Also, Activision still plans to crank out Guitar Hero, Call of Duty, and Tony Hawk games.

Not hard to imagine when guitar hero is the biggest thing to happen to video games since pac man. (sorry gta4 fans....gta DOES NOT inspire friends, parents, etc to try..that in itself is a HUGE statement)

Funny how Analyst Michael Pachter thinks he knows everything when just about 80% of the time he is wrong..How the hell did he even get that job... I know this has nothing to do with Activision, but he was wrong about GTA4 on PS3 outselling the Xbox 360 version and how he said that the DLC and all sorts of the other things will not make the difference...

He needs to get a better job..
