Wow. I have never been so disappointed with a Feedback like I was today. I respect all of your opinions, but I feel I have to disagree.

As a former WoW player for many years, I too felt like Blizzard was always turning more and more to a casual player base. Many times I was in disgust at this. Sure they are a business and have to get people in to play their titles. However this the solution, to dumb it down? I now play games far less than I used to. Looking at it now, a little bit removed from the scene, I appreciate what they have done with this game.

As far as the server lag, I too experienced it the first 2 days. It sucked, no way around it. You gotta think though that this is a "free" service, to host your game onto battlenet. No WoW 15 bucks a month hit. Free. Free to chat and play with all my friends. From a business perspective you gotta anticipate a certain amount of drop-off in server demand even as little as a month away from launch. Why buy tons and tons of server capabilities for them to go to a smaller demand so soon? That's a waste of money/resources. Yeah they make tons of money through WoW, blah blah blah. But realistically they just had a huge layoff, and YOU DON'T PAY ANYTHING OUT OF POCKET TO PLAY ONLINE.

On with the game. Was it easy the first play through, Yes. Did I die because I felt invincible at times. Yes. But there are tons of story and lore that I didn't bother listening to because I wanted to get out there and play. So I feel there is more depth and story than you guys let on. Sure I'm not powering through it like Leah is, but I felt that the pacing was incredibly on par. I'm currently on Nightmare mode and am enjoying the fact that the difficulty just continues from where it left off when I first beat the game. I love ripping through tons of mobs, but I am also thoroughly thrilled when I just barely escape a large pack of demons or what have you that I just killed. I also like it when I mess up and die because I didn't strategize like I perhaps thought I should and took enemies for granted.

No props given to the seamless effort it takes to join your friends, or chat with ones that aren't actually in your party. All that is just a click or two away. Bravo. Blizzard has made it a community game that it is easy to find new friends that you have recently played with. etc. There are just tons of things Blizzard has done right with this game that even if you have your doubts, I still say its worth picking up.

All in all, I for one am having a great time with the game and will continue to do so.

    Until next wednesday, Peace out.
