How to level up faster....
Buy Torchlight 2 when it comes out.
Seriously though kinda hard to level when you must maintain an internet connection to play a single player rpg. This DRM paranoia Blizzard has is getting absurd. Many people who bought the game day 1 couldn't play because Blizzard's server couldn't handle the strain. They made the same mistake with SC2, so WHY do it again with D3?

6. In Diablo 2, you can do specific main boss runs: Andariel (Andy), countess, summoner, meph, chaos sanctuary/diablo, pindle, shenk, eldritch, baal, and nith (This is from memory). If you have high MF (Magic Find) you can get some impressive loot. In Diablo 3, once you kill the boss once you do not seem to get any yellows or better. Even if you are killing them for the first time in Nightmare level or better. I am guessing, it is to avoid people farming specific bosses now. Now, the best loot is from the random yellow, purples, and blue mobs in the world... that no one knows where they are at... since they spawn randomly. (High MF - Magic Find is very useful.) Also chests (randomly spawn in the world) can drop very good loot. The best magic finding will be from killing rares around the world rather than simply boss farming (unlike d2). Every rare pack you kill, you gain a (stacking) Nephalem valor buff which increases your gold and magic find. Dying or switching runes removes this buff. The Forums state that this only kicks in at level 60.

having played d3 for over 50 hours now, i can honestly say i love the game
id give it a 8/10
pros: many of the headaches of d2 are gone, everything is more streamlined and easier to get to and do shizzz, like the freggin headaches of messing up your skill tree and having to start a whole new fudgking character just to try a different skill to its full extent.
love the sound, the environments, the gameplay, the atmosphere.
guys this isnt a copy/paste/add some new pretty graphics/ and call it a new game game.
this is a complete overhaul for a Diablo game. while still keeping the game good ole diablo.
cons: only 4 player mutiplayer (common give us 8 like d2 had)
no offline gaming. even if i want to play solo, any of my friends can still join the game,
cant customize stat points *sad face
anyway, will definitely continue playing the game. looking forward to see what blizzard does with the updates and future expansion packs =D

you, GameInformer, IGN...nobody is giving this thing a review yet cause they're still in shock about the end product of an entire decade worth of work.
Yes I've played it, pre ordered the collector's edition months ago, I played Warcraft 1,2,3, Starcraft 1,2 and WoW (endgame raiding for 3.5 years)..and as a HUGE blizzard fan..I must say I'm disappointed.
I plan on finishing the game, I'm glad I bought it...but TEN YEARs...for THIS..??! Might be their first miss...it was bound to happen eventually (should have seen this coming after Cataclysm shake-up)

The only thing that bugs me about this game is that theres no offline component, they force you to play online only..seems like less game for more money to me, i used to play D2 offline when i was on the road, now ..cant do that

this game just doesnt look all that exciting. im going to play my friends copy for a bit this weekend, to see. but honestly, this isnt a $60 game. not with Torchlight around the corner for what $20? or was it $40? either way, its got Diablo beat in my book, unless my little "Demo" at my friends house changes my opinion..i dont see myself buying this until the damn battlechest comes out or its down to like $40 or less itself. esp not being able to customize your characters like you used to. "oh this level you get a Rune to power up your spell"..."but i dont use that spell, why would i wanna power it up and waste a level?'"..."too bad, your SOL"....yea, great game mechanic right there.

Useful Boydtip:
1. You can hold down shift to autofire. Very useful for range characters. However, it can also be useful for melee characters if the enemies are many and charging you. Likewise, as long as the projectile or swipe animation goes near the mob (the enemy monster) it will get hit, even if you did not select it.
2. EARLY on, I would pick up everything for early cash. Especially for newer characters/players.
3. When items drop, they have several different stats and bonus. One very early bonus is MAGIC FIND. This ability can increase the CHANCE of a magic or better item to drop. However, Magic Find does not help you kill monsters. Some players have trouble killing bosses solo. Get your best gear for those fights. However, if you can - have high magic find when killing bosses for the first time.
4. THERE IS NO 4... duh!!
5. In Normal mode, if you die - you can get rezzed by players (even in battle). If you are solo, you can respawn at the last check point. However, in hard mode... In Hard mode, when you die you die. You do not get to pray or rez at a checkpoint, the character becomes completely inaccessible.

I have to say Macross is dead on, I love Diablo, the lore, the gameplay, etc.. but it feels outdated i mean 12 years an that's it..dam an for that reson alone i willnt buy this game the only way i'll end up with this game is if some1 gifts it...but even then i willnt get it cuz i willnt ask for it. maybe Diablo 4 right :)
