I really wish CoD would stop going through the path of "Killstreaks" and go backwards, the Balistic Knife and Crossbow was a really good start, now just add tons of more perks or just make the perks more complex to suit what type of player you wana be, cause wither you go back to WW2, Remove Killstreaks or add Swords and bows n arrrows.

I Really wish CoD was not about "Killstreaks" anymore, How about just a crap load of different perks or perks that just get more powerful, plus a ton of weapons from guns to melee, the ballistic knife and the cross bow was a good step, now just add swords and actual bows and arrows for people who want to have less weight on there body. Better Customization. I seriously thought zombie games would influence the fps genera alittle atlest.

I for one am somewhat interested in Black Ops 2, strictly from a story standpoint (being it is partially in the future), and a gameplay standpoint with the game choices mattering. And I honestly didn't care at all about the past CoD games since 4. All the games in between did absolutely nothing for me, with only the original Black Ops holding my interest for the couple hours that I played it.

Multiplayer in general has no appeal to me and it has not since the days of Quake 2, CS and UT. The whole prestige and perk system is a step in the wrong direction. Making the game easier cause you're good? How bout making it harder. Limit your weapons, ammo, health, etc....

I guess I am just fed up with the whole modern military direction that the genre has devolved into the past half decade. The regenerating health mechanic, introduced with the first Halo I believe, made most fights just seem boring to me. You weren't scrounging for medpacks and playing in "fear" for the next encounter. The game felt more visceral before. A well placed shot by a powerful enemy or being swarmed ended your fun quite fast. And you couldn't hide behind a corner or barrier and wait for full health. Also I feel like exploration has totally left the shooter genre. The game used to reward you for finding easter eggs, secret areas, or just looking in every nook and cranny. Now some games just feel like a on rails carnival booth (to borrow your analogy) with very little choice. And lastly I miss carrying around more than 2 weapons. And having exotic weapons at that. Pulse weapons with alternate modes of fire, bio weapons, charged ones, etc. A modern gun just boring shooting plain old bullets.

I look forward to future of this genre (or to the past), cause the present is just boring.....

Paraphrasing the Peter Molyduex twitter account, but, "I want to be able to kill a person in call of duty and then see his child crying in the stands when I play fifa." horrible but funny

What happen to feedback I use to love?

I remember them use to talking about Game of the Week or poorly made games on how they sucked or what parts made them awesome. Like nothing on what's wrong with Ninja Gaiden 3 , anything on Soul Cailber or even The Witcher 2 still begin great on the console?Instead this show been gutted by higher ups at G4 who decided to step in and monitor on whats begin said, can't be said. Rather then say lose exclusive sneak peaks ect... lets turn the show into a discussion that doesn't step on anyones toes/ hurt feelings.

Feedback was never about that. What made feedback great was the ability to say whatever and not be about back door politics. Now what Feeddback once stood for is long gone and when you lose some as respectable as Adam Sessler it's a indication of what G4 has turn into.

As for rest of the Feedback crew I wish the best, its not your fault and thanks for standing by the fans.

For you G4 I cant believe you turn the once amazing feedback from 2 years ago into this.... (you should win worst company award/ you deserve it). For myself I'm out of here,

    Peace out.

Future FPS are way overrated and overkilled. I'm over them, I will be right back guys, I need to go make a game that is action/adventure that takes place in the stone age were you get to fight Mammoths and other cave people. Multiplayer will consist of stoning or stabbing other fellow cavemen and conquering territory were you become region leader. I will put unicorns/magic pebbles that will make me super duper better than any FPS EVER. Sincerely a very frustrated gamer.

All the crying about killing a bug. Maybe you all should rub your vagina's together? Bet you wouldn't have to pay Stephen $500 to do that.

Also, a robot doing the robot is the best reason you can come up with Blair for Borderlands popularity? Oh wait you're trying to be funny again, I believe you add these attempts at humor because you just have nothing insightful to add to the discussion.

Remember when Adam Sessler use to host this show and he had some interesting insights into games, and had a quality sense of humor. Blair is not even close to his level, a gun that shoot sharks? Really? But Blair must be truly giddy lately taking over the jobs that Adam had and made popular. I don';t get G4 anymore as I have direct TV, but he has certainly hurt this webshow so I wonder how much damage he has done to X-Play.

I noticed one comment about the shorter length of this show, it is quite simple the current cast is barely able to carry on an intelligent conversation about games let alone one that last for much longer than half an hour. One thing I did notice is that Nicole missing from this show seems to make it less intelligent than I had thought.

I think all these military shooters have done too many games set in the present/near future...I'm so sick of them year after year, I actually want COD or MoH to go back to WWII...WWI would even keep things fresh a little more...

Don't think I'll touch another COD or MoH until they break the cycle...and I won't touch another BF because of EA and Origin...

Someone asked if there are realistic shooters he can play, well there are. Take a look at the original Operation Flashpoint and ArmA series. They are exclusively on the PC, OFP and the first ArmA is quite a while ago, so those games should play fine on most PCs, but the latest ArmA, you might need a good rig. Anyway, if you're tired of auto-aiming, regenerating health and unrealistic shooting where your characters and the CPU can take a dozen bullets that most FPS nowadays have, I recommend those games.

I really don't care if the other commenters read this, but I really hope whoever reads the forums for the show sees this. Early on, the camera guy moved a tripod without disengaging locks. If you do that, then the locking mechanism will lose its grip and potentially cause a falling camera! I really hope that kind of tripod doesn't have locks, because I cringed a little bit when I saw that.

Also, if I got your attention, I might as well give my go for a question of the week.

It was said in an earlier episode that, with the likelihood of consoles going to a digital distribution system to essentially take out the used game market, games may be priced more according to the quality of the game's experience (low quality games like Duke Nukem Forever costing only $20 while epics like Skyrim remain at $60). If that happens, do you believe that game developers will be forced to release lots of less than stellar titles that may carry heavy franchise names like Halo or Call of Duty? You guys did admit that it's easier to pick up a game that we know is not so good if it only costs $15 or $20 after all. Could this move to digital distribution, where impulse buys are the fastest way to the almighty dollar, lead to a decline in quality from our beloved franchises, as seen by the recent Fable Heroes?

    Thanks, love the show.

I love how g4 decided to remove my post! But yeah, I'm really sick of feedback. It used to be really great but its slowly turned into a big pile of crap. On another note can we get someone in here besides these two clowns => jessica chobot/stephen johnson. I mean seriously, and 30 minutes per episode, give or take, is starting to piss me off.
