The slow and dangerous slog through Route X turns nasty when the heavily armored Buffalo vehicle rolls right over an IED, destroying it and knocking out communications to the troops riding inside.

This episode was so sad. They were clearing the road to a Taliban stronghold, but with this "war on the cheap" there were no forces to guard the cleared sections of road behind them. So when they headed back to base, new IED's had already been planted on the road after only a few hours, and they got hit multiple times. Ridiculous. Do we ever fight wars to win?
