I'm reading some of the comments, and I don't think some of you guys really realize the type of games that comes out of Rockstar. They're all movies!! From GTA to Red Dead Redemption to LA Noire, they're all playable movies. So it's only natural, and makes sense, that for Max Payne the games goes in a more cinematic direction. I'm also a little suprised at how some of you guys even have a litlle skepticism towards the new Max Payne. For those who do, let me ask one question...When was the last blockbuster game, made by Rockstar in the past 5 years, that sucked??

Cool, so they're taking a page from Naughty Dog's book. Hope the rest of the experience is executed well.to go along with the immersion.

This is definitely a technical advancement and I wonder if replaying a section of the game will result in a different set of comic panels, camera angles, and lens flares. However, I'm not buying that this is the right fit for Max Payne yet and it feels like they're pushing this game farther from film noir which also doesn't sit well with me.

This game is gonna kick a**!

I gotta disagree with graphicsgod completely!! This game looks amazing, and replacing the hand drawn cutscenes with more dramatic, cinematic looking one, while still keeping the comic style panels make for an awesome upgrade from the no motion black and white cut scenes which caused a pause in game play everytime, and in my opinion was overall a little cheesey. This new style not only makes the game looks modern, but it get rid of loading screens, and there is a seamless transition from cut scene to gameplay, so you never can tel lwhen your done playing or when your watching a cut scene. Not to mention the gaem just overall looks amazing!! Rockstar has another game of the year nominee in 2012, and GTA5 isn't even out yet!!

wut?! same release day as diablo 3

This looks so badass, but MP being bald and in the jungle just takes too much away from the original story to still feel like a MP game. That and no more hand drawn looking cut scenes is really hurting this game than helping, but the action is so bad arse looking, that maybe I can overlook it's flaws. But it still wont feel like MP for me.
