Easy to say, 360 has better color and more depth look at shepard on PS3 and then the 360, the 360 shows every hair on his face, the PS3 is brighter and to me makes things that should be dark, bright. But thats my oppinion if I had the money I would just buy a PS3 and play ME3 on it but Im a 360 fan

the difrences are'nt major enough for me to care, however ive been playing ME since day one on the 360 three rings of death later and i still play it on the 360. the console it was originaly designed for. Besides what is this 2005? why are we playing the 360 vz ps3 game again? we are gamers the only thing that maters in the end is the game and our personal expirience with it. lol

I think I will buy the ps3 version. If you watch toward the end of the video, the guy downloads some DLC and then has his CC stolen by lolsec. PS3 owners will have a much more personal and long-lasting experience with mass effect because of this.

I'd just like to say if you pausethe video at where the boy is playing with a toy normandy, you can clearly see that the xbox360 has a clearer and better picture. Look at the tree. Its much more detailed on the 360. Although I own both consoles, I kinda want to swtich over to ps3 by buying ME2 and doing the choose the original events thing.
Also can we plz ban DPsx72? hes just a useless jerky trool trying to make people mad with his illocial comments and arrogance.

As usual, the PS3 version looks better. Blu-Ray and anti-aliasing make it more realistic. With Xbox, it's more geared toward brighter colors, making the game seem more cartoony and un-realistic.

y do you still do this? developers are good enuf to make both versions close enuf in quality to not matter. has anyone ever even said they made their decision based on ur comparisons? cuz ive always already known which version i want long before you put this out. so please, just stop. all your doing is giving fanboys excuses to flame.

I played ME2 on both platforms and, like most single player games, it looked better on the ps3. I would imagine the same could be said for this, but then you're sacrificing the imported story line from the first one (the original ME was distributed through M$, therefore unavailable on the ps3 ). Tough call unless you have a decent gaming rig, then pc ftw.
DaBigFatCow
I got it for PC so it looks better than both of those :)

Yeah, but what do they both look like at 1080?
Come on G4, time to join the high tech revolution.

Did DPsx72 forget what the developers said already

You won't see the texture issues that plague the PlayStation 3 versions of some multi-platform games on Vita, one developer with experience of both platforms has said.
The Vita's impressive amount of RAM means it's better able to produce stable, high resolution textures than the PlayStation 3, the creator of Vita launch title A-Men told Eurogamer.
Vita has more RAM than PS3. Vita has 512MB of RAM and 128MB of V-RAM, compared to the PS3's 256MB of system RAM and 256MB of video RAM. Vita also has the advantage of not having to reproduce HD visuals.
"This is great," Bloober gameplay programmer Jakub Opo , who worked on Vita launch title A-Men, told Eurogamer.
"This is the main drawback for PS3 versus the Xbox 360, because the Xbox 360 has half a gigabyte of RAM, so the texture quality is better in games on the Xbox 360. You can see when you compare two games.

The 360 had was a bit darker but detail was a little more vibrant, the PS3 has a few frame rate issues, its a bit brighter. But the way I look at it, ME was originally made for Xbox and PC so granted its gunna look a bit better, I couldn't care less either way tho, the game is way to bad ass.

Not to poop on anyone.. but .. You don't get any of the slow frame rates or issues on PC.. i hope next gen consoles won't be hindered by outdated tech... x.x

I noticed a drop in fps on the PS3 side. Just like the demo, the 360 seems to perform better in this comparison. But in the head-to-head screenshot comparison at lensoftruth.com people are saying the PS3 performance improves after the opening sequence.
Will have to wait for a performance head-to-head to say for certain though.

oh I don't know... PC.

they look the same to me

I'm pretty sure the only difference I've ever seen in any side-by-side comparison video is that the brightness of one console has been set slightly higher than the other one.

Just checking out thelensoftruth.
Looking at Shepherds face it's obvious the 360 version is much clearer.
Have to wait for the performance analysis but if the demo is any indication, it won the Eurogamer Face-off.

$59.99 is the price ceiling for me. If prices increase beyond that, I'll no longer be making Day 1 purchases; I'll just wait for the inevitable price drops -- whether it be digital or physical.

Other than some of the shadowing and the darker colors they both seem nearly identical. I got for the 360 only because it's what I've always played it on but l'm glad all the platforms will get to enjoy it.
