I disagree with the Justice League review for those of you who may be inclined to buy it. The same kind of plot device was brought up in the first season of Justice League Unltd; and the pay off was far more satisfying. This was one of the weakest releases of these DC direct to video films, the absolute worst was Allstar Superman. If you want to check out one of their better features, I'd recommend Batman: Year One, Batman: Under the Red Hood, Justice League: The New Frontier, or to a much lesser extent one of the Superman/ Batman films. Try to stick to the movies that are adaptations of actual comics; because their original stories have been falling flat of late. Which is weird since the stories for most of their JL series were really good.

I think Chris's assessment of Hugo was fair, and his description fairly accurate. I didn't feel Hugo was slow moving so much as long winded and somewhat grandiloquent. For all the beauty of the set and costumes, after two hours I realized Scorsese was far, far more passionate about the subject matter than I was. I kept waiting for it to be about something more than how amazing and important Scorsese thinks the history of cinema is. Sadly, Hugo left me waiting. Good movie, but the last 30 minutes was mostly fluff. Why was the old man so sad anyways? What a big baby.

Didn't surprise me at all he didn't care to much for Hugo and that he doesn't like children/family movies. All he seems to like is anything with nudity/violence, or toilet humor in it in large ammounts or anything G4 is paid to give a good review to. Notice he is yet to review a good number of recent DVD releases that were big at the box office for awhile when they were in theaters. Why you may ask? Because they do not fit into his liking system or G4 did not recieve some kind of payment to cover them. Or even cult classics that are being rereleased on bluray, no mention. I for one hope G4 wises up and fires Gore because he is nothing close to a film expert.
