In 1984, Jordan Mechner created the original Karateka action game for PC, and then moved on to the Prince of Persia series and beyond. Now, he's returning to where it all began with a Karateka remake, and Morgan Webb gets details in this X-Play Exclusive.

    By "HD" i'm picturing a Flash-styled game. If that's the case, they are probably just going to ruin it and are better off leaving it alone.

    I loved the original Karateka! I played it every day on my Atari 7800. I never got past the second enemy. It was just too hard. I really can't wait to see what the updated version looks like!
