    I've played the demo a couple times now and I'm still looking forward to buying Amalur eventually once I have enough room in my budget for it. but with regards to the gentlemens last comment on the combat system, I heavily disagree that this is the first time it's been done like this. the combat in this game entirely reminded me of Hellgate: London's (also made by EA) combat system and I suppose I was one of the few gamers who really enjoyed that game. all that being said, I feel like Amalur's combat system is what the makers of Hellgate were trying to achieve, and kudos to them for it, with a quick-action system included and their own form of a "devil trigger" mode.
