Oh wait,... At the end Blair said the game via,e out YESTERDAY. What I heard him say earli was that the game was coming out weeks AFTER the Holidays. My bad.

Stil, it sounds like Mrgan likes the game.

I'm amazed at how many people here think this was recorded AFTER the review. No way! Blair said in the beginning that the game was coming out soon, or in a few weeks. And yet there are those who could not believe it was recorded some time before the review..

Also, when were Adam's reviews the only reviews that counted? Interesting that many are calling BS and keeping in mind the Skyrim review. Well honestly it seems G4 can review new IPs. Or some folks there don't get it. But Blair and Morgan seemed to love what they have enjoyed so far.

Oh well. Glad I listen to regular gamers more that game site reviewers. And too bad Adam will never answer for his review as others at G4TV have.

That was the strangest feedback EVER.

Blair and Morgan were definitely patronizing probably due to the review.

When I saw the review of Kindoms of Amular I was soooooo pissed off... I mean seriously why is the game a 2.5 out of 5?!?!?!?!?!??? It is a wonderful game and they didn't even mention the beauty of the level design and all of the places and creatures in the game! I played the game was so emmersed in the game like I wish I was in skyrim... Speaking of Skyrim, why did Skyrim get a 5/5 and this game get a 2.5/5?.. Adam complained about poor facial animations in KoA:R and a tiny camera glitch? Well lets talk about the problems Skyrim has that are game shattering at times!!!! and a 5/5!!! Don't get the wrong idea from this because I love Skyrim. It's a wonderful game and my eyes popped open and about fell out when I started open the game... I think I cried a little >.> but the game has so many game breaking glitches that a lot of times I would just, without saving, open the disc trey and take it out and not play it again for a week. Something is wrong when a game that is a NEW FRANCHISE gets a 2.5 for little pity things and then a giant franchise that has multiple titles has a horrid amount of glitches and issues that have been in all the games that the dev team failed to recognize and fix. I don't see why a Adam(I think that's who reviewed it) would be so hard headed and well I dont know the right word I'm wanting but to be so harsh on a new franchise that did so wonderful and to rag on it so hard because the game doesn't give enough consiquence and has a little camera glitch... I just dont see why he would rag so hard on it on a highly watched show... People are going to see that 2.5 and think it's a horrible 'Amy' game and never get to experience the amazingness of this game... I just hope IGN and Game Informer gives the game a rating that it deserves...

I gotta give Ken and Joe a lot of props for doing Feedback off of the heels of such a low score from G4. Obviously the people who actually own the game, and not just played the demo seem to disagree with the review. But even with fan support, it gotta be awkward when having to play nice with a publication that basically butchered your efforts. Especially when Blair is basically gushing over the game and how much the folks at X-play love the game.

Think of how horribly awkward this must have been for Blair and Morgan knowing that the game gets a bad score (and by their own definition, a 2.5/5 is a CRAP game) and still having to go through with this segment. That being said, I'm still gonna pick it up and give it a go. I have many many friends raving about KOA:R's game-play, and I trust their opinions way more than any game reviewer on the planet because it's all perspective.

Keep up the great work G4TV team and the show is continually getting better and better, Blair. I like what you've done with it so far, and I will continue to tune in weekly. I would love to hear your opinions on the final retail copy of KOA:R on the next Feedback without the makers in the studio.

I think it is awesome how the internet community responds to reviews a game gets a good review and the reviewer is on the take they give it a bad review after a special like this and they are somehow betraying the developers. I think it shows a bit of objectivity and integrity that they would have them on the show and then Adam would post a review to the contrary of the positive opinion everyone seemed to hold towards the game. Adam is one reviewer these people are completely different entities unto themselves one thing I think we have to realize when we read these reviews is that G4 or IGN or GTtv are companies consisting of many different individuals that do in fact often times have differing opinions, not some hive mind entity all spouting the corporate viewpoint.

Also I would like to say that Adam's is by far the worst review the game has received. (that I have seen)

When I say worst I am speaking to the score not the quality of said review.

Is it just me or does Ken Rolston seem like someone who drives around schoolyards in a windowless white chevy van?
    Just a way creepy guy.

the truth about the review comes out!!!

The explanation why Adam gave the low score: ""So i got the inside scoop on why Adam gave this game such a low score. Apparently anyone who knows adam knows that he is a big time collector. Amalur only had around 300 collectors edition made and 12 super special collectors editon made. Well adam missed out on these and asked BHG to "hook" him up whith one. Of course that would mean that someone else would not get theres and adam was told there was no way they could do that. " There's a lot of things you wont be doing" is what i was told adam said.""

Giving a game made by the individuals here that made it a 2.5 out of 5 is an insult to their work. I'm enjoying KOA almost 4 hrs in, level 6, building up health and weapon damage. All games have problems even all current games.

gotta love when combat designers at 32:25 mention this tying to the MMO, even though later they say they can't talk about copernicus, gee, i wonder if this was a slip, or an intentional drop

For a show that 'won't pull punches' and tells it how you see no matter what people think, you sure seem to be sugar coating your thoughts on this game since the guys who worked on it are right there. Half of the stuff you didn't like in the review, you all love when you're talking to these guys. Granted Adam did the review and maybe not everone feels the same, but saying everyone here loves certain aspects of it implies Adam did too. It makes really hard to find sincerity it what you say and your reviews when you review it one way and talk differently to the Devs. so as not to upset anyone. Seems cowardice.

To everyone generalizing about KoA's "luke warm" or "mediocre" reception, please realize that G4 is not the only site reviewing the going. A quick scan of metacritic (yeah, yeah, everyone hates metacritic but it serves my point well here) shows the game sits at 80 on 360, 87 on pc, and 82 on ps3 per their averages of reviews around the industry. Let's not call the game a failure due to one outlet giving it a middling review.

Not saying anyone is right or wrong as far as individual reviews, but clearly plenty of reviewers thought the game was above average.

Best feedback ever, Ken Rolston was a joy I could listen to this man talk games for days. I've always feared the day when I would "grow" out of games and it refreshing to see someone of his still loving his craft and still a gamer.
