I'm confused about what she's so excited for.

Is it a Zelda game with nicer'ish graphics?

Do a demo you can actually play and then I might be interested. But until then, not inerested.

Wii U looks pretty sweet as a console but the new controller looks annoying. Too bulky and for some reason i feel like your hands would start to cramp after a while since there aren't any contours. I bet they're going to be too expensive to buy separately.

The only thing I want from Nintendo is an HD Metroid.

Was she having an orgasm over a demo that she actually cannot even play!?!??!
How much did she get to act that enthused?!?!?!?

Its too bad that she's not actually playing the game, but rather just changing preset settings. Sure it looks good but since this is a demo for a nonexistent game Nintendo can do whatever they want with the features. I don't think that developers would really want to use the space and buttons to add these features in an actual game. Still I hope they make a new Zelda for this that differentiates itself from all the other Zelda games and actually has new features.

I won't be sold until I see a real game demo like Arkham City on the controller, ya dig.

This is what next gen is all abou. New features, gameplay, and great games. Out of all the announcements I've been hearing; the investors meeting was by far the best. I've been a nintendo fan since '86 I'm really excited to see wa hat else it can do. I read an interview from a developer stating that he believes the Wii U is much more powerful and exciting than the media and the simplistic look of the system let on. Add on top of that the launch line up so far; and I'm sold. These sony and ms fanboys are just jealous and looking for softspots. And just the ability to use external HHD is cool. You can store tons of movies and watch them like that. I think Nintendo is trying to move away from discs (dvd/cd) wise like the jump we all made to mp3's and mp4's why add on of those optic eyes as a part (costs) when you can do it digitally. PS the games I'm getting day one are Aliens colonial marines, project cars, ninja Gaiden 3, killer freaks, Batman A.C, & Darkstalkers 2

the Zelda tech demo is such a giant tease. Why show us how a Zelda might use the Wii U controller if they're just gonna force another gimmicky motion-controlled game like Skyward Sword on us? I want to use the Wii U controller to play a Wii U Zelda......

Also, Eternal darkness 2 needs to happen. Just imagine the kinds of sanity effects they could do with that controller....

Yeah more WII Boxing that would be great , don't move the controls more than an inch or the Wii cant read it . wow what fun . Football that only lets you play at the 20 yard line o boy .
Did you know that you can just tie the controller to the dog and let him run around the house and he'll beat the game for you . wow fun fun fun .

    Now another system o boy ...... a NO .. NO THANKS .

I sure hope this comes packed in with the system the same way early DS's had Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt. Either way, as long as there's at least ONE good first party game on launch to keep me busy [AHEM. looking at you 3DS..], there is no question about it, I'm getting one.

Also, @Trekster_Gamer, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I distinctively remember something about being able to store the game locally on the controller/tablet and transfer saves and whatever when you come back. Could have just been a rumor though..

Mario Tag anyone?! With Mario Freeze Tag as DLC?

Zelda didn't look too exciting, but the other three experiences could open up some HUGE gaming ideas :-)

yawn, and holding that controller for extended periods looks really uncomfortable. Most people most gamers hardcore gamers have a dedicated TV so the selling point of moving the game to the controller is unimpressive. What would be impressive would be to take the controller away from the WII u completely and be able to truly have portable gaming.

Wii U too little too late, XBOX 720 and PS4 will show us how it is done.
