Borderlands 2 Lilith Reveal

For Borderlands 2, Gearbox Software held a contest to find the actress perfect for bringing Lilith to life. We go on location to see how it played out, meet winner Yasemin Arslan, and hear from Gearbox's Randy Pitchford on when he knew she was the one.

She looks nothing like Lilith. I hope she doesn't do the voice, and they go back to Colleen Clinkenbeard for the voiceover.

I'm looking forwards to Borderlands 2 a lot less now.

You know, I first started following this girl on Deviant art. She does a lot of cosplaying and looks fantastic in everything that she does. For the people that are hating on her, you have no idea how well she does what she does. In the mean time, congrats. :) I know she'll be perfect, and I so wish I was her.

Its awesome this woman won the contest, but in the game perspective i was hoping for more of Maya details or mayb a new character reveal.

She looks pretty close, even without the make over they picked someone who had the right proportions. A LOT closer than I expected the winner to look that's for sure.

I almost thought we'd see Felcia Day picked when the contest was first announced lmao.. thank god that didn't happen! (hate her so much)

I'm sorry, did I miss when the characters from Borderlands gained a personality? What character are you making your own? The character who has no arc, no direct interaction with any of the NPCs, and only the flimsiest of motivations?

Yasemin Arslan looks good, and fits some of the physical features of Lilith. However this is just another form of advertisement. Arsian will indorse the game and will tell you to buy the extra things that comes with Borderlands 2. Don't get me wrong I'm still going to get Borderlands 2, but this isn't how they should make you buy the game.
