The Stop Online Piracy Act threat continues and starting Wednesday, January 18th, popular websites like BoingBoing and Reddit are joining the protest by going dark. Kevin Pereira talks to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian about the issue and how the Internet as we know it is at stake.

i do think that piracy prevention should be made more effective, but sopa sounds like it will be too invasive. i dont know what the solution is, but sopa doesnt seem to be it.

ESA is supporting SOPA. Do not support the ESA unless they withdraw their support. Do not support or attend E3 or else you will be supporting SOPA.

If you hate SOPA READ THIS!
The ESA are helping SOPA. ESA's biggest way to get money is E3.So, by attending and covering E3 you are finacially helping ESA and SOPA. Eveyone who reads this please don't go to or cover E3 in any way until ESA withdraws thier support for SOPA. Including G4. Sign a petition at Change.org and search for a petition called Stop the ESA, Petition and Boycott E3.

I respectfully request that G4 not cover E3 unless the ESA withdraws their support of SOPA and PIPA. I recognize the irony of fans such as myself telling you what you should and should not be broadcasting, but I feel that it is better that you honor our requests than eventually succumb to the demands of a lobbyist driven government committee.
