People should understand that instead of 4-5 maps ever 3 mo they are giving elite players 2 maps a month if not more often, sounds good to me.

Personally I'm not to blown away by Elite, I only paid for the premium to prepay for the content. At the end of the year when all the content is released I'll know whether or not the extra money was worth it.

As far as the game goes I'm still deciding if I like it or not. I hated Black Ops, I'm not buying Treyarch's next game. At least MW3 got rid of a lot of the cheap death from above that was in MW2. But I'm not super impressed by the maps either, I find some of them too big for the amount of players involved. It almost looks like Treyarch had a heavy influence in creating them.

I own both systems but I bought the game on the 360, PS3 fans have every right to be annoyed by having to wait for content if they paid the extra money for Elite, it's a crap way to treat loyal customers.

im really disapointed. all the speculation and screenshots...and 2 maps? where is overwatch and blackbox? anyone remember mw1-waw-mw2-blops map packs each had 4 or 5? and not only that also zombie maps in waw and blops?
not only that, but im a ps3 elite premium member. i waited 36 hours camping outside gamestop and had to chase away a kid with a machete at 11pm in the freezing cold of Massachusetts to keep my 1st place spot in line. i've been waiting for this game since 2009. black ops was a major disappointment for me, and i have high expectations for this game. And as for the whole partnership with xbox releasing DLC on the xbox first it is so disappointing as well. im not going to be like a *certain troll who commented on this video* and bash one console over the other. (yes, i am a ps3 fanboy. i will defend that system to the death from people who say the xbox is 'better' when its all about preference.) but the fact that i got hardened edition and am a premium elite founder should mean something to the developers. maybe that i care? that i love the game so much? and yet all the xbox kids at school are gonna be talking about it who dont even have elite.. ):

"But also its important to stick with your teammates" ERRR this isnt BF3 you know..... Its every man for himself in this game pretty much, its a run and gun game....no strategy involved.

The maps give you the strategy, which is why anyone from 6+ can play this game with ease. In BF3 you need to think of the strategy yourself.

I own both the xbox and the Ps3, and I love them both very much. My Ps3 is set aside a lot but only because the xbox's party chat is way better, and because I only buy Ps3 exclusives (Uncharted 1-3, Infamous1-2, GoW 3 ftw) But this whole Ps3 elite members getting stiffed is pretty jacked up.

elite is not my thing its boring, i love cod but alot of the maps are re creations of past maps of the other games not all the maps just like 3 same thing with gears 3 maps are to much alike for me if i know where i am and where im going and i never played the map before we have a problem or im gonna be a famous physic someday

COD MW3 played the multiplayer, beat the campaign, and I have to say that game is freaking awesome and it was the best game in this generation. Those two maps are the worth the $50-$60 and will be the best DLC EVER!!!! This is what you call SARCASM. That Liberation map really looks like that map from BF3

The majority of you people who are bagging on Elite have no idea what you are talking about. You do realize you are getting the same amount of content for cheaper then you would have gotten it had you not paid for Elite? Without an Elite membership, you'd be paying about $60 total for all the planned DLC releases this year AND you'd have to wait every 3-4 months for the stuff to be released. With the Elite premium membership, it only cost ya $50 ($10 cheaper) and you get DLC every single month. You're not getting more DLC, they are just spreading the DLC content out a bit more. Even if you don't use all of the Elite content to it's full potential, it's still worth it just for the fact that you save $10 on the DLC packs. I mean, c'mon people, you make yourselves look like fools when you comment on something without having all the information.

so let me get this straight all of us ELITE members pay $50 for dlc considering how nobody cares about the rest of it and all your releasing is two DLC maps instead of your usual 4 dlc maps so what the fu@#!

and plus, I got FREE tix to go to the COD XP event where I got MW3 FOR FREE, which was the SPECIAL edition with a FREE elite membership.

in the video, did u see any of the devs playing on a ps3? no. because xbox dominates in the gaming world. you dont go to a pro gamer and see that he has a wii, or a psp, no he had an xbox. you dont go into the president of IW and sees that he plays on a ps3, do ya? no. cuz xbox is better than ps3. so stop trollin and be a man for once.

i honestly think they should partner up with trearch so they can make a zombie DLC i wanna see zombies upgraded i just dont think survial stand up to zombies.

As if maps are anything special nowadays. I've been through a lot of MP games to realize that a map pack is worth it for the first two days. Especially on CoD, where nothing can really be brought to the game (new game mechanics, deadly environment, etc.). New maps are nice, just not worth the Elite stuff. I'll get it when it's available to everyone.

Plus PS3 and PC players have to wait to get it even though they paid extra...

wow infinity ward you guys are all on xbox's nuts. That sux that elite members have to wait for content after 360. I feel cheated but what can we do as consumers. I think we have shown loyalty to you and now its time for you to show loyalty to us. I actually have a life and are in the army for real but when I am gaming I like to have what i have paid for. IW and other gaming companies do not care about the people that make the games popular (us) they care about trying to cram the next game in a installment or dlc for us. Man i guess your loyalty goes as far as my dollar will spend. Maybe somebody needs to Occupy Infinity Ward I am down.

It seems to me that they are simply offering the same content they have always offered in their map packs but paying Elite members will just get the maps earlier at a rate of 1 or 2 a month.

Also, they said they were offering 20 pieces of dlc but them calling the two maps they're offering in January two "content drops" leads me to believe that the 20 pieces of dlc are going to be 20 maps or maybe 15 maps and 5 other pieces of dlc. All and all its sounds like the same thing Activision has always done with COD dlc but their just naming it something different and providing it to prepaid members earlier.

Anyways I'm still pissed that I got ELITE Premium and I still gotta wait till after 360...

I don't know how they plan on rolling out DLC but two maps is kinda boring. They need to make some ridiculous maps. Fun and cool. I could care less if they are real locations or not, just make them fun.
