It's okay Morgan, kids are annoying. Embrace your cynicism, be proud.

All the hate for Morgan Webb - I love her opinions and she's most certainly able to express them. Loved this edition.

Great Feedback, but can I make a suggestion? Blair, please, for the love of gaming, no more Morgan Webb. I don't mind people on the show that give opinions that go against mine, I just don't like people that state their opinions as facts. Morgan is the worst, every time she opens her mouth, I feel like my ears are about to throw up. Please dude, don't invite Morgan to the show anymore, everyone else but Morgan.

    Thanks

Looking forward to Dishonored (with guys working on it that did Deus Ex, Dark Messiah, Thief), Risen 2 and Dead State (an isometric zombie RPG!)

Definitely not gonna get Diablo 3 because of the whole always-online DRM, Pay2Win Auction House system, no Mods and Battle.Net 0.2 in it's horrible state, Torchlight II is going to replace it (which has no DRM, offers 4 player CoOp this time like Diablo, has LAN support and even delivers mod tools, on top of that only costing 20$/ )

Curious about The Secret World, Tomb Raider, Dear Esther and Mass Effect 3

Blair killed me on the frosted flakes comment....

Also 321 studio's pedigree is their talent. That have the combat designer of es: MW and other classic titles, R.L. for story, and Todd M, for design...you cant get any better than that.

Anything can be made free to play. Does it mean that they will definitely see a return in investment?

I say no. If the product is NOT what consumers enjoy, then the product will fail no matter if they offer free to play options. It will then (eventually) they will go bankrupt. Because their ideas were bankrupt from the beginning.

Loved this edition of Feedback, as I am a huge Insomniac fan. You guys should bring Fixman back and beat him until he spills more details on Overstrike or the NC studio's next project.

Does anyone else feel that Bioware and Blizzard should be the same instead of EA and Bioware? They can call it Biozard! Or Blizzware!

I wanted to ask a question seriously though, pertaining to my other post, but you can forget that one and what I say here.

So if you imagined kids as you when you were that age, what would you tell them? How would you inspire them to continue what they were doing? Wouldn't you have wanted someone else to give you the advice you know now? Let's hear it! =D

I have to just say that making games for kids, the talking down thing, it's not really something personal. You see when grown ups make games, they forget what it's like to be a kid. So they try hard to re-imagine what it was like to be a kid, everyone has a different idea, it gets all meshed up, then they make something that they FEEL would appeal to kids.

So a little props to people who make kids games. At least they're trying. So what have you done to help kids open up their imaginations and run with it? I'll be honest, I haven't done anything yet, but I will try.

I think the chance to try out a game is critical. Demos are an absolute must. I hardly ever buy a game unless it's either a) someone established that I really like (in other words, Bioware, maybe SquareEnix) or b) I've had a chance to test it out. I have a few exceptions, and without fail, those are the ones that either I never finish, or I never play again, or I trade in. In a few cases, I probably wouldn't have bought them if I'd been able to try it out. Which is fine. If I don't like a demo, I don't pick up the game. I might comment that it didn't look that great if the topic comes up. But if I've paid for a game that I don't like, you can bet that I'm going to be a lot more vocal, and a lot more negative about it.

Also, hang out at the game stores, let people demo it there. Especially make friends with the people that work there and let them try your game. Their job is to talk to perspective customers about games. They make recommendations all the time, so if you can impress them with your game, you can reach a lot of potential customers through them.

So Morgan Webb has a brother who works for EA, and TJ Fixman also has a brother in the industry? Family of Gamers, that's pretty kewl.
