    Drew Carrico of Clarksville Tennessee played Skyrim for 56 hours breaking the previous world record of 43 hours. skyrim is awesome!!!

    Killer game, better than I thought it would be. I was about 2/3's through Uncharted 3 on 11-11-11 and I figured I'd just hop back and forth between Uncharted 3 in my PS3 and Skyrim in my 360. The first part went great, I hopped over to Skyrim and started playing, but I never got to the second hop back to Drake. At over 300hrs now and it's just as fun to play as it was day one. Such a great game. If there is such a thing as a good time to be recovering from an injury, this is that time.

    last time i checked....yes they did use a completely new engine :/

    Clearly, you need to do a little research this stuff before you criticize it.
    Skyrim did not get a completely new engine. However, it is fairly obvious upon playing the game that they updated and improved the engine, and more or less gave it a complete overhaul.

    play the game for 3 years? i played morrowind for 6 years (and still occasionally play it). i expect the same time spent on skyrim
