Wow!! OK, the most important part: G4 designers are incompetents. If people were cheating is all their fault!!! Is it so hard to make an e-mail verification process? All MODERN websites have this nowadays. All the great games that you so much appreciate have ultra-super internet interfaces, so, try to get inspiration on them. First, fans of all games (not just Zelda) were cheating because G4 has the most incompetent webdesigner I ever saw. I couldn't believe how easy was to make a fake account when I read about. Is it so hard to make a e-mail verification process? ALL modern WEBSITES have it!!!
Second, if all fans of all games were cheating that means that Zelda would win anyway.
Third, I can't believe how immature a "professional" can be. Just because it's a videogame website you don't need to act like child that had your toy broken by another kid.
Fourth, I'll NEVER access this website again. FOREVER deleted from my bookmarks.

This was very unprofessional..... Skyward sword apparently had more fans, and is an amazing game!!! get over yourselfs X-Play. Without The legend of Zelda franchise games wouldn't be like they are today! I wish you ppl would just have some class about Nintendo winning something....shesh!!

For years now, ever since the debacle that was the G4-TechTV "merger", you've been the only good thing keeping this whole media outlet from going down the crapper. They gave Skyward Sword a 4 out of 5 while like 30 of the other games in the deathmatch got 5 out of 5. Obviously they don't think SS should have won, and neither do I honestly, but those are opinions, and in the end SS did win and it's because people voted for it... So that's something

This was supposed to be a tribute to the game that fought tooth and nail to come out on top in a tournament full of great games. HALF A MILLION votes were cast and finally a game was crowned, to the joy of its fans... Yet ten seconds of footage from this video completely undermines what was accomplished and attributes the victory to nothing more than simple anger. Pathetic. I don't care if they absolutely hated the game or if they really do have bias against Nintendo for whatever reason. At least act professional and give credit where credit is due.
