Who cares. It's still linear. They promised they would fix that after the last one. I'm am an AVID final fantasy fan. I've played every single one of them made. Final Fantasy 7 is still the best game ever made.

They are turning this seriously in the entirely wrong direction. X-III You could SIT SOMETHING on the freaking accept button and walk away and it would beat the fight for you. I mean come one. Linear and all you gotta do is mash one button. They should be ashamed to even release that crap.

This is going to be more of the same. What happened to being able to go on the world map and just explore. Bethesda can do it with fall out, elder scrolls, and others. But these guys suddenly forgot how. And they were the greatest at doing so. These last couple have been a sad sad let down :(

I grew up watching my cousins play every Final Fantasy game that was ever made, even the ones that were around before they were even born. Over the years I just grew attached to the game series, the plot lines, and the characters. In short, I'd buy this game.
