well g4tv has totally lost my respect as a gaming comunity and professional reviewers, their bias against nintendo and zelda is so obvious everywhere on their site, since the start all they did was make zelda look bad. i don't know maybe they are sponsored by sony and microsoft and that's why they do that but from the begining they should say that this is a ps3/360 comunity

Looks like Batman is this year's front runner with all of those nominations. I'm hoping that Gears 3 wins game of the year though.

Wait...No PS3 exclusives for game of the year?? But I thought they've always had the better exclusives??

Kind of surprised about Uncharted 3 and Skyward Sword not making GOTY nominees over titles such as LA Noire and Saints Row: The Third. Not disappointed, I think Uncharted gets way too much hype, but Skyward Sword should definitely be on that list.

The reason why there is no zelda is because G4 gave it a 4/5 they only make 5/5 for game of the year

I kinda feel G4 has lost site of what makes up a good game. They only choice games that had graphics that used realism and violence for nominees (aside from Portal 2 and SMW 3D). They aren't looking at what really makes a game worthy of the Title game of the year. I know all these games are fun and great, but I do feel like G4 was just trying to insult Nintendo with everything it Did to Skyward Sword. #1 not making it a nominee when it truly did display a chance ever since the start #2They gave it a really ( not to be sound rude) cruddy trailer when there were much better ones out there. #3 the description they gave for the game was less than impressive when compared to other games. #4 the picture they put up of Link for all of his appearances in this competition ( lol I must admit they are quite awful).
I'm not really complaining, but I do think G4 needs to get over its issues with Nintendo if they want to remain a good source for gamers. I mean with Nintendo coming out with a new Hard core system I can easily bet that G4 wont be giving out a good source of information ._.

In the end it matters not because Zelda did not get GOTY nominations from G4TV, Skyrim did. So this contest is all for nothing.

i love how Dark Souls or Skyward Sword isn't up there g4 i know u hate nintendo but really give me some good reasons why zelda isn't up there and batman is i'm pretty sure people said batman plays like zelda lmao but anyway and why isn't dark souls up there either what a bunch bias humans lol o wait is it because of graphics hmmmm probably

Really? No Skyward Sword? Not like it got a perfect 40/40 from Famitsu or anything...

Skyrim did as well, but I do find it odd that Skyward Sword is missing from the GOTY list.

This is just about my favorite time of the year. Love all the categories, and especially love all the nominees (good way to find games that I've missed throughout the year). I will say, I do wish "Rage" was swapped with "Crysis 2," since I honestly feel that's the best shooter of the year. Other than that can't wait for the actual awards.
