The best book for gamers this christmas is the MOTHER 3 HANDBOOK! Which just got a reprint! Best fan-made guide ever.

Ready Player One is terrible. It is poorly written and boring. This book has been hyped by g4 for so long but doesn't warrant the time.

My viewpoint as a gamer is I don't want crap. I try not to buy any big title game in November-December and allow my wife and kids to buy me games for Christmas and during that time period I play with my backlog.
