7 minutes into it and I felt my IQ dropping listening to them go on and on about Pokemon. First time I quit a Feedback cast.

Why do people always hate Final Fantasy 10-2? It had, by far, the best battle system in a FF and people like complaining about 13 being linear? 10-2 was as unlinear as any game can be that isn't made by Bethesda. Don't like the dialog? Virtually every cut scene is skipable. I've personally spent more time in 10-2 than any other FF and any game not named Diablo 2 or Guild Wars.

I game exclusively on the PC. There are rationales behind this that are too long for this format. But I will say, long and short, I'm going down with the PC gaming ship, and I'm happy to. I'm not going into detail on the whys of this one either, but, I do feel strongly about it. As well, I have no enormous grievance with consoles. Believe it or not.

However, this issue with Ubisoft is sounding like a death knell for PC games. An overt comment making an effort to put PC gaming to rest. I looked at the games released this year, and nearly everything released for PC was a port. Ports can be done well, but this is not the issue. It says to me something, That our ship has sunk, we're being pulled in our lifeboat by a larger boat owned by some console maker. Probably Microsoft. Some of the people on that ship keep throwing us scraps of what they had.

There is an interesting OP/Ed on the issue with Ubisoft over at PC Gamer from a couple of weeks ago.

    http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/ 10/07/opinion-ubisoft-piracy-a nd-the-death-of-reason/

Now that article was OP/ED but it is well tuned to the issue, and I think what's happening is what PC gamers and Ubisoft know, which is that, they're going to produce a port of I Am Alive and similarly GRAW:FS (uggh, what a name) that PC gamers are going to feel unhappy with. They're turning more into a "once friend" who's life has led them off in another direction. Which I think I can live with. Their efforts to make PC games have been half-assed recently anyway. They're reaping what they sow to some extent, but at the same time, It seems to me as if the writing were on the wall here.

If the stat quoted last week about MW3 is correct, about the number of sales amounting to less than 5% of the total sales...This whole situation may simply be endemic of something broader...If other PC gamers are wondering why they feel marginalized in the community, it is because we are literally in the margins of what is earned by the Publishers/developers.1/20 is not tiny when a release is as big as MW3, but it is for a smaller release, it is tiny.

Gotta say, I haven't seen anything from Ubisoft lately, that warrants dealing with the BS. Seriously.

The power glove....sitting in a glass display in my game room thanks to the Wizard.

I honestly don't get Pokemon but I wont knock anyone that plays it. From what I've seen, it appears to be a very complex game that requires skill and dedication to play. I just can't get into it. I hate finding my keys so there's no way I'm looking for several hundred Wonder pets.

Redgaurds are black and just like here in MN, you won't see too many of us wandering around in the snow, or fighting Dragons.

For Micheal was the best vg add I've ever seen, particularly Cole showing off is powers, Drake talking to Lightening(???) about the Rub' al Khali desert crash, and Ezio's bad A costume.

Another cool add was an Xbox add that had a woman giving birth and firing her kid out of her womb into the sky as he rapidly ages from infant to old man, and lands in a grave. No idea what that has to do with Xbox but whatever. Awesome is awesome.

The worst was the Fight for Grenade Spam MW2 adds. Completely offensive and caters to the worse scum online...the dreaded 12 year olds.

Lastly, Kinect 2 sounds and awful lot like what was promised for Kinect. I'm not going to get into Kinect bashing but doesn't it make more sense to continue refining the original before asking gamers to pony up another $150 to use voice commands and dance?

Never played a Zelda game, but also never missed a feedback. Next round of video game death match will pin Skyrim vs Zelda, the winner of that battle will beat out which ever game it goes up against in the finals. Leah Jackson I believe; is the reason Starcraft 2 won last year's battle (she has the inside edge) j/k.

Best commercial hands down was Borderland's (the satire of Claptrap making Borderlands).

Great Feedback i haven't listened to feedback since the Sessler Abbie and Klepik days, and while its a different kind of environment I'm beginning to really enjoy the laid back gamer talk that still manages to keep the focus of "Intelligent gamer talk"

The quality of conversation is starting to plummet, lets have fun, but lets not revert to high school level jokes and taboo. More Leah J Please, not so much Nicole...

Thank you Blair for redirecting the conversation from the Pokemon rant that started up. The show took a horrible turn for a little bit.

Personally I'm not a PC gamer so I can't say I can relate, but the thought of a game company neglecting me because of what some people did is so overwhelmingly frustrating, I can't begin to describe my level of anger. What Ubisoft is doing is basically biting the hand that feeds them. Like I said I can't truly relate, but knowing fellow gamers are hindered from experiencing what I can pisses me off. Its like when you play an awesome game then want to share the experience with your best friend, but his parents suck and you're forced to wait for sleepovers. Reminiscing of my N64 days with Ocarina, Super Mario 64, and Smash Bros.

Regarding Ubisoft and piracy, maybe if Ubisoft didn't make poor PC ports and put in stupid DRM where you have to be connected on the internet at all times to even play single-player, maybe more people would buy your games on PC and not pirate it. Not that it's a good reason to pirate, even if Ubisoft does treat PC gaming like crap.

What is it about Blair and black & asian people? He's like that guy who doesn't hang around with either, but tries so hard to show that he's cool with them, but ends up insulting them and making it worse in the end. The less said about his video review of Homefront, the better.
