Feedback -- The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword And Kinect 2 Rumors

I love the Zelda franchise and I think Skyward Sword is a nice addition to it. Granted I do miss that somewhat sense of exploration, but if you logically think about it you're constantly retracing your steps in every Zelda game to look for items and hearts. So the gripe about backtracking seemed a little stupid. I do agree that backtracking through a dungeon for an item is stupid..all for a little bottle of water..geez. However, my overall experience with Skyward Sword has been quite enjoyable. While I do think that Fi is a very monotonous character for a Zelda series, but why all the love for Midna. I mean when you first meet her she's a grade A beeotch to you and doesn't really turn around until after she gets the crap kicked out of her by Zant. Honestly I wish she would have died because she annoyed me so much. I also don't enjoy the fact that everyone just glosses over Windwaker like it never existed. They had some great dungeon designs and awesome exploration in it, but because of it's cartoon like presentation gets shafted like it never happened. Seriously I love OoT as much as the next person, but it shouldn't be put on such a high pedestal that when another Zelda game comes out and isn't like it you'll just be dissapointed. Maybe that's just because I think Windwaker is a better game out of the two. Don't get me wrong I love OoT, but comparing every new game to that just sets the new game up for failure. I like to think of every Zelda as a unique individual experience; however that's just me and I might be a little crazy for thinking this way. Okay, stopping rant now because its too long and nobody's likely to read it anyway.
