I <3 XBLA games. Really throw in Pinball FX2, Magic 2012 and Fruit Ninja along with the other great downloadable games on the service and you'll be gaming for hours.

I'd like to add:
PixelJunk Sidescroller: An homage to old school, arcade side scrolling shooters, with beautiful, anachronistic visuals and the brutal, yet fun, difficulty of the arcade days.
Trine 2: (Releasing in December) An action/puzzle platformer featuring three distinctly different characters with brilliant visuals and lighting, set in an intriguingly creative, medieval fantasy world.
