I don't know why, but for the past month or so the MMO report is not playing. It works when it's on Youtube, but I can't watch the MMO report here on the G4 website...

ActivisionBlizzard is the whole company, so saying the company's profits are up is not necessarily reflective of WoW. They lost 1.7 million subs this year which averages out to $25.5 million monthly revenue going *poof*. They still have a large income from subs, but that's still gotta hurt.

Course, when SWTOR comes out the sub bleeding will continue.

Activision Blizzard is the whole company so yeah the company as a whole had a profit. However, their income from WoW has lost 1.7 million subs this year which equates to an average of $25.5 million a month in lost revenue. Still making a good chuck of money from WoW but as any businessman will tell you $25 million going POOF is still a tad painful.

Course when SWTOR comes out I bet the sub bleeding will continue.

Also, I am in college: but my liver will take any pity it can get, because I'm not giving it any.
