Saints Row: The Third "GTA" Trailer

Saints Row: The Third isn't exactly calling Grand Theft Auto out, just saying that there's plenty of crazy stuff the game doesn't offer, and that a bunch of it is in this trailer.

Seriously, Why call out GTA?? If not 4 GTA games like Saint's Row wouldn't exist... GTA paved the way for these kinda games and crap like this only causes fanboy QQin and none of us want that. I will be getting both GTA5 and SR3, so this isn't a fanboy bash on SR because at the end of the day I am still a "GAMER" and we're better than fanboy nerds ^.^

I cant see anything about GTA in this video, so why tjhe "Saints row isent calling GTA out" BS?

This is the kind of thing that I don't get about THQ. I understand when they say they're not trying to compete with GTA. They want to do their own thing, and this is obvious with the ridiculous nature of the gameplay. But why release trailers, or say anything about GTA then? Everybody knows they difference between the two franchises, and everybody also knows if Rockstar even considered THQ competition, they could easily end the Saints Row franchise, and probably will with GTA V. All they need to do is give players more extras on top of the the quality.

GTA is not the father of open world games.... I can think of Fallout, Fallout 2...

Lets see...and tons I can't remember, get your facts straight young people....

and GTA and Saints are really I think two similar games but GTA takes itself serious while Saints does not......

Though all of that looked fun, this was kinda tasteless. Why bash GTA, the father of all open world games, for not being "creative"? Obviously GTA is focusing more on realism, while Saint's Row is obviously focusing more on fantasy. That's perfectly fine, and I for one enjoy both GTA and Saint's row...and will be getting both GTA V and Saint's Row The Third when I'm able to.

This sort of thing only fuels more warring between people who should really just be happy they have two awesome yet different styles of open world games to play.

This is a thumbs down for THQ/Volition for me.
