I think the only reason they talked about uncharted 3 for 10 minutes is because it is such a good game and there isn't a lot to discuse about it. There are problems with Battlefield 3 and that is why it was disscused so much. I don't get why people get so worked up into a frenzy about score anyways. I loved the 3d castlevaina game on the N64 which most people feel is one of the worst in the series but I still like it no matter what the score is.
And since when is 4 a bad score? to me a 4 is an amazing game with just a few things missing that would have made it a 5 but still a great game.
Thank you guys for the honest reviews on what you feel about a game and keep up the great work.

    2 things:

1; How in the hell was the temple of doom a mean spirted nasty film? What kind of liberal nonsense came to that conclusion for that film?

    2. Was it me or was blair almost nonexistent in the vid and that it didn't even matter. Which is a bad thing on his part.

Did Adam reference 'Transformers' when talking about COD again?! Adam, I like hearing your take on things and I think it's a good change to have you in the guest seat because you get to express more of your interesting an insightful views and opinions rather then having to ask others to express theirs. However please pick another Micheal Bay film to criticize, we get it you didn't like Bays' Transformers, they're not the only films he has made nor he the only director to take that style of film making. Although COD and the Transformers films have the same low-story high-CF factor they hardly correlate to each other. I understand your meaning but Try Pearl Harbor instead. You can argue that Pearl Harbor had a story because it actually happen but c'mon no Bay film really has a story. This won't stop me from watching the show, ppffff don't be silly, but I know there are more pop-culture references in that large well educated & informed head of yours than Transformers. I hope this is taken as constructive criticism and not any form of bashing/ranting but if not then it at least helped me vent my opinion. Thanks G4!

Good for Jessica to be finally standing up to Adam on some of his "issues with people", in this particular case I actually agree with him... having been through launches of lots of MMOs and Online games in the past and kinda getting "used" to it that the first 1-2 weeks will be rough, but it's good to finally see another opinion standing up to his usually "corporate" attitude and not everyone just nodding and agreeing with him like usually...

There are several FPS/TPS franchises/games, which do somewhat focus on story... for instance Valve has been mentioned and while Portal is more of a Puzzle game it still works in an FPS fashion of point and shoot and both had an excellent story. Also say Fallout: New Vegas and Mass Effect 2, which aren't as much RPGs as Shooters with a few RPG elements thrown into the mix. I remember RavenSoft trying the same with the new "Wolfenstein" a few years back, but ultimately failing at it... also Dead Space, the GTA/Red Dead Redemption series etc. or even Pandemic's last game Sabotage are at heart about shooting people in the face in a third person manner, yet they deliver excellent stories with that. Maybe it is even BECAUSE of that, that most people don't consider them "shooters" but "Open World games" or "RPGs" or whatnot as the boundaries between genres amalgamete (for better or worse).

Also anyone found the dichotomy of having a game with a put on Single Player which isn't what it is about (and also was "trashed" for) and another game with a put on Multiplayer (which hasn't been mentioned at all aside of Matt saying they should cut it for the next game) in one episode interesting? xD

now i personally don't care about the uncharted games but i constantly hear it's not as good as # 2. Shouldn't you have reviewed a game on that game? Like forget that it's a part 3, treat as a stand alone...does that make since?

This was another interesting Feedback. It was weird seeing Adam on the other side of the table, but I'm getting used to it :P

In regards to the Uncharted series, I've played the 1st and 2nd, but I don't think they have drawn me in as much as they have as many others who laud at how great it is. Maybe it's the gameplay that I just can't get behind, but I can't say I have the same excitement for the Uncharted series as, for instance, Adam.

As I said on the soapbox page, Internet rage is a shadow. It can only hurt you if you focus on it. Don't focus and you never even know it is there.

That said, good episode. Nice segment on viewer questions. Adam's newest quote and the unicorn shirt will haunt me for a while though.

Matt was actually wrong about women not being able to fly combat aircraft (~22:40). It's actually one of the few official combat roles where they aren't barred- since sometime around the 1993-1994 timeframe.

I'm totally on board with Keil, for all of it's shortcomings, Crystal Skull is a better movie than Temple of Doom.

I also liked the discussion of Uncharted 3. I still haven't bought or played it, but I will because love the series. As excited as I have been for the game, I've had the same sort of reservations about a sequel coming so soon after the game changer Uncharted 2 was. I'm sure I'll love it, just as Adam did, but I'm sure I'll miss that sense of amazement because of how groundbreaking Uncharted 2 was.

Just started watching but I have to say I am already excited for this episode because its been a long time since Matt Keil has been on and Adam Sessler is back on! I really appreciate both of their opinions and really like hearing what they have to say. So hopefully there will be some interesting chatter.

Adam, i really understand your frustration with the amount of hatred being spewed at you over something as trivial as review scores. People who resort to threats and meaningless rants of hatred should and need to be called out for their inappropriate behavior. That being said, i find it interesting that no one has brought up the cost of gaming today. It was mentioned briefly after the debut of the Xbox 360 with the $60 games but after that it kinda just disappeared from conversation. The economy has become a serious problem and gamers can no longer rely on picking up every single title this holiday season either because their jobs are crappy or their parents are unwilling and unable to afford $300 to make their kids happy. So these gamers rely on these scores and those quantifiable factors like game length to make sound objective decisions on which games to invest in and which games to either rent or save for later. This is a HUGE issue and I don't see it dying out until either the economy 100 percent recovers or each game that is made turns out to be AMAZING: two things that will in my opinion NEVER happen. it's a shame that it's come to this but I will never spend $60 on a lackluster gaming experience.

    For Miss. Chobot -

Do you have any data to back up that claim that battlefield 3 is bought by mostly kids? Just because you are not interested in playing FPS games doesn't mean that your age group of people don't play it.

I've heard Sessler say many times the core audience is like 30-40 years old - so I guess it isn't just kids spending money on Battlefield 3, now is it? This brings me back to a couple episodes ago when you said World of Warcraft is for 'kids'? I believe the that the resident MMORPG female swiftly corrected you that time- and rightfully so.

It ceases to amaze me that two people who host feedback (Blair, Jess) would both say "I don t even play FPS games and I don t like them". The fact that jess said "I shot a guy in multiplayer and was done for the night" is just pathetic. I get it Adam wants to focus on family and stuff and not want to have to worry about organizing feedback but oh my god could you have given the job to a bigger moron. Now Blair is trying to bribe viewers with swag lol pathetic. If Adam isn t on the show talking I m not watching there is no chemistry on this show and it is an absolute shame. I have watched every episode of feedback because I get to listen to gamers thoughts about what happening in the business. My friends aren t hardcore gamers so I watch shows like this to get that need. Unfortunately I have to hear Blair and Jess and I don t want to hear their views on games or anything. I m 21 not some 12 year old hater and I just have to say I am very disappointed in the direction that feedback is going but there is nothing I can do and probably nothing I can say to change it. R.I.P. FEEDBACK
