I only watch the show because of Adam, without him, it isn't worth my time.

Dlc is the equivalent of taking a masterpiece like Starry Night cutting it up into pieces and saying its still worth the original value after you have glued it back together.

the dlc thing doesn't make sense, it sounds more like it would be digital downloads (full games) because you cant return it. makes way more sense.

I don't know why consumers wouldn't buy gaming DLC. However, until I can access digital video content via zune or whatever without having to download it to my limited hard drive space to guarantee future access I will not be buying any. Do you think they will ever offer a subscription based platinum service with unlimited cloud storage so I don't have to download it on my hard drive?

    Couple of things:

@Frank: if you want to play Diablo 3 on your tv, plug your hdmi port into your tower.

@Jessica: For any die hard fan of Blizzard who played Frozen Throne, the chance to play a Pandaren is awesome. The firebreathing, funny one liner spewing, beer barrel toting beast that is known as Stromstout is one of THE most iconic characters in the game's universe.

Does anyone know if Diablo 3 dlc will either come in the form of expansions and/or small, individual pieces of content? WoW does both, a lot of xBox and ps3 goes for the smaller and most cosmetic pieces of content.

Was it me or did Frank O'Connor seem to not want to be there on any level.

To comment on what Jess said about DLC: demos are not the only form of dlc out there. My main reason for not buying them is because of there being no return policy. One of my friends bought all map packs for Black Ops and regrets it because some were unsatisfactory and he won't be playing Black Ops anymore, so that's about $60 down the drain. I bought map packs for KZ3 and never got the chance to play them, because no one else online was playing, so that was another waste of money. Maybe if they gave 1-3 days to try out dlc, I'd be quicker on the draw, but until then, I'll save my money for physical content.
Also, I'd feel like I'm rewarding developers for putting an unfinished game that they'll fix through dlc.

What I found funny was they said they didn't know what was in the Blizzcon goody bag yet there was the Tyrael statue right behind Blair that was in the goody bag. O and the WoW pet wasn't in the bag it was in the badge holder with the badge. So if you got rid of your badge after blizzcon without finding it you lost the pet.

1: GREAT episode, don't let anyone tell you different..they're afraid of change.

2: I appreciate the diversity/versatility of panel members. I love "fresh faces." Frank O'Connor (console man) had some amazing insight that I would have never expected. At times I wished Leah would have been there too for the MMO crowd but Jessica (PC and console girl) represents a different demographic - and I value her opinion as a female gamer..and Casey (PC man) -- well -- him and Stephen Johnson need to have a Beard Off ASAP :)

3: Blair, thanks for moving the conversation along. I'm glad you gave more time for the panelist s to speak while throwing your anecdotes in there lol.

4: Maybe I'm a minority but, I hook my PC up to my 40'' flat screen tv (which in front of my comfy couch) and 90% of my games are controller enabled so..the whole "can PC games be on consoles" thing seems a lil ambiguous to me. Console hardware needs to catch up.

5: WHERE THE IS REAL FEEDBACK THEME SONG?!!

VIDEO GAMES! WHOO! Good show, great, peeps - I look forward to the next one!

This may be the wrong place to put a question, so feel free to explain where exactly I need to post my questions in case I'm lost.

My questions relate to the Uncharted 3 rating Mr. Sessler gave; not with the rating itself, but the apparent contradicting nature of ratings (Uncharted 3 does not equal PAYDAY: The Heist, based on the familiarity '3' shares with '2' and the fact that Payday is the game based on The Town, yet they share the same score thus must be a similar experience).

Did this originate because of the demand of the people- "less words, more overall summations and math I didn't fail in"-, or the demand of the market- "need a number and fast so I know how much money we'll make/lose/spend/save/blah-blah -blah"?

Should/will the rating system change; if so, what is the ideal?

I have been watching X-play since Agents Bob and Steve, and will continue until doomsday- oh wait... 2012. Let's hope I keep watching for the next four months.

Congrats to Blair on his first solo flight with Feedback--a little bumpy and flat at times, but still decent with room for improvement. However, not gonna lie, I miss The Sess.

I wish I could be a jackass to post about how I hate everyone and everything in any form of media...
    :D

The show is doing good with less obscure references to who-knows-what.
I enjoyed Adam and all the other co-hosts in the previous casts, and I will keep enjoying the current bunch that are making at least 1 hour of my life entertaining.

Also, stop talking about games that aren't 'out' when they record this thing. That's why they always do a major show the week after releases about the games.

Blair's great, I love that he cares as much as he does about games and he always shows a lot of depth of thought, he respects what he's doing for sure, I love it. same for Jessica, she cares a great deal about games, it's obvious. they're all kind people, and the show is always going to slant towards whats on the minds of the human beings in it, right?!

It just takes some getting used to, no big deal.

ok two more strikes, this episode while his first not all that good, Blair while you are a cool guy maybe feedback isn't gonna be yer thing so to speak, honestly there seemed like no direction and a whole lotta talk about nothing hopefully the next two chances things will improve some if not then I will lay off the feedback for awhile, probably the best stuff was from Frank when he got to talk.

personally I believe the great Casey Schriener should be at the helm of feedback maybe he could get the show on the track of a intelligent round table discussion about videogames

i think another point to consider on the whole 'buy a years subscription to WoW and get Diablo III' ness is perhaps to try to stop some people jumping ship and moving to SWTOR...?
