Obviously you never played TES before, that spell is not healing at all, it is calling "Turn Undead" basically it 'revives' any dead body, and its like a zombie fighting for you.

This was the first occasion I've heard of g4tv and I can't say I'm impressed. I'm anticipating the release of Skyrim like a kid waits for christmas and that's why I'm taking in all the bits of info I can gather, so naturally I came upon this piece as well.
I consequently have concerns about how you select your staff at G4TV. The commentary was so badly misinformed and annoying to boot, that I can't see how any self respecting gamer could enjoy watching it. The commentators, especially the female one, came across as someone who hadn't even heard of the game, let alone seen info about it, or god forbid, played it like you guys apparently did? Ice arrows like Link? Elk-tree-demon? Come on.
There are thousands and thousands of people who are excited for the release of this game and gaming in general. My advice to you is to hire a true gamer to be your commentator instead of having these people ruin the reputation of your streams by alienating the people watching them with utterly misinformed commentary.
As far as content goes, this was A+. Commentary brings it down to a D-. Hire better people.

Oh my god no, they made a few errors, better make them redo the whole thing!
If someone were to spot these errors it would be catastrophic, the internets would split in 2 and crumble; Thus leaving no place for insecure *ssholes to vent their frustrations.

Nikole, your whining and obviously grossly uninformed commentary is, quite frankly, unbearable. I couldn't even finish watching this video with the sound on. How you ever landed a job reviewing video games is beyond me.
G4, if you intend on making further videos about Skyrim, either before or after its release, please can you employ the services of someone who appreciates the depth and richness of the Elder Scrolls series in their commentary instead of using talentless airheads who have a gushing penchant for 'bunnies'.

Worst. Commentary. Ever. FFS They even looped the same footage 2-3 times every now and then - does this program have zero quality control?
Sure, "Woo yay Skyrim, etc." but I spent more time frustrated at the dumbassery spewing from the two commentators' mouths than marveling at the new footage.

does no one know how to be quiet? sure your stories are interesting but have it as another video, i want to hear the gameplay. it's not just you guys g4, ign had music, gamespot had terrible commentary, gttv had both, except the commentary was good.

I agree with all the neg comments on the commentary... just Shuddup will ya?! You don't need to yap on; the game speaks for itself and, worse, you make it look and sound cheap. I for one have lost a little excitement after hearing one of the muppets give advice on how to tackle "dwagons". Just shutup, it's not help, it doesn't build excitement or awe. You're just that kid that got to see it first! ...Boom!

these commentators are so done... they have no idea what they are talking about. its like they got my mom and asked her what the game was about after a 3 hour demo (my mom doesnt play video games). g4 please hire some competence, hell i would do their job free for 6 months, all i need is a chance.

I can see this video being on an amateurs youtube channel, that is the main problem. It is not professional at all. It sounds as if they were thrown this follow up assignment that they had to do after playing the game, and they did not take it serious at all.
Any person who has even kept their ears open at all, much less played the game should know a little more than what they showed of their knowledge. No, those were not ice arrows but dragon shouts. It has only been spoken about in just about every single demo or other commentary.
The audio edits, especially at the end where it cuts the women off in mid sentence is very obvious. Oh wait. .maybe she just didn't finish her sentence at all and just got distracted. . . oh look BUNNIES!. . .

I made an account to say I thought the commentary was fine in *both* videos. The second provided informed thoughts and expectations. It's appreciated.
Honestly, if you guys want think you've heard bad commentary, you need to see the one GameSpot put up last week. It's so bad it's legendary.
Also, Nikole and the other guy wrote *terrific* preview articles last week. Of the great slew of 3-hour gameplay articles, theirs were among the best. Lots of detail and new information. (And Nikole's was the only one that made me laugh out loud, with the comment about "racism" in regard to black vs. white soul gems, haha.)
Keep up the great work, guys.

And I mean all you commentors, not Jake and Nikole. I mean first of all, they were simply joking or trying to be humorous for a lot of it, but I guess Skyrim fanboys don't really have any sense of humour to speak of. Secondly, they actually said a lot of informative things and made some good observations. I know after watching that video, I have a little bit more knowledge on the game. Not much more, but that wasn't exactly the point of the video either.
So please, PLEASE for the sake of NOT making all Skyrim fans look so incredibly douchey, SHUT. UP. Ya nitpicking sensitive overly-dramatic fools.
