Reviews are just ones opinion. Why people that them as facts and get bent out of shape over it is ridiculous.

I find it funny that all these people thing Adam can change the way G4tv handles reviews. Adam is told by his bosses that they have to have scores on their reviews. If I was Adam I just wouldn't care what people say on this site. You don't need validation from these people.

Listen you bald, intelligent bastard, how dare you yell at everyone like that and be so sarcastic about no one else playing the game so our opinions don't matter, you talk down on us like we are pieces of crap and I find that very disturbing, I see you are frustrated and all but the way you yell at us in the video shows how immature and bald you have become. Yes, you make extremely good points and I may have agreed with some of your points if you weren't a yelling freak, foaming from the mouth, talking to us like we are dumb when you are full of contradictions within your own reviews from other games.

Almost forgot the most important thing to say. Keep that passion alive Adam, that is why your fans love you.

I feel sorry for Mr. Sessler. He is far too educated and rational to have to deal with the likes of the current Video Game community. Its a culture that breeds ignorance and mob rule. Adam understands video games for what they are while too many turn it into a competition to see whos is bigger.

i have been watching x play for years i think i was 7 or 8 when i started watching the show and it has changed and matured but it has not grow out for that scores system which damns any thing the get a low score. games like shadows of the damned and brutal legend did not make 5 out of 5 and they were great games but people looked at that score and walked a way. how can a score tell you what a person thinks about the game and why you should follow there word maybe he or she hates naked girls in there game or they hate that there was a few f bomb then after there finished with the game they slap a 2 and you don't now if you will like this game or not. if video games are going to be a mature art then treat it like one fellow viewers and stop looking at the score and read the reviews these people work hard writing then you might find out more if your hard earn cash is going to a game you might like.

I think someone needs to give Adam a Valium so he can relax a little, maybe when you are writing your review pop one so you do not feel the pain of giving a number to the game.

I say give up on the numbered system, talk about it as if it were a painting or music or something. Discuss the good and bad of a game, and leave it at that. I know people will pitch a fit about that because they will have to actually read the reviews. But at the same time when i have read your reviews i have walked away with an understanding of the reviewed game where I can make an informed decision. That is what is important, not what number a game has on it.

Never forget Adam that there are those of us that understand you play games (good ones and bad ones) so we can make best use of our gaming time, and I for one am proud to say I listen to G4 about what they think of games. How else would I find out what game I should buy if I can only get one this month. Another words thank you for all your time and effort.

Haha Adam, your funny. Please stop rambling. You scored the game how you wanted to. It's your opinion. Live with it. We all have different opinions, no big deal. You didn't like the game ( judging by all your negative remarks about it ) it's ok. Hopefully I'll like it :)

Adam is the MAN, but if you hate it SO much, you need a plan. Fix it if it bugs you so bad. It can (apparently, from your tone,) get much better. At least at G4TV.com it can. I know Adam thinks it could get a lot worse, too (a ten or 100 point system, or how about some bribery-based bias, like Game-Informer?). There has to be a way to help alleviate the pain in the reviewer's brain. But I am genuinely pleased to know that at the first place I go for my gaming news, (and sometimes the last) the reviewers really care. It is important to be harsh, and it is important to be real (real intelligent as well). You guys seem to be all that and a can of Whoop-A%%.

the problem about reading the review is i have to read it. i read all day at school and don't want to do anymore reading when i get home. xplay needs to come out with more in depth video reviews the day the written review is posted on the site. and it should be 5 mins long like all the other sites, not this 2 minute crap you guys have going on

When I see the score for a video game I read the whole written review to find why that score was given.

    Joy, my post vanished.

Hey adam, you realize you are yelling at children right? Aren't you an intellectual.

Why is it so hard to rate a specific trait of a game? Gameplay, Graphics, Sound, Story, Etc.

Why not, as a reviewer, create specific traits that relate to you and rate those? People like values because it allows comparison. I think its easy to say Uncharted has some of THE best graphics in the industry. So rate that a 5/5. If you don't like the gameplay then say so.

If we are to look at your gameplay review number, and see that you rated it low, it makes it much easier for us to jump down to that section of the review and debate your opinion.

Adam, many of us haven't played the game like you. We are fans and expect information on the subject. We look to reviews for that information. I assume you know of cognitive dissonance? Personally, I feel there is a study warranted involving it and gamers. There is an intense connection made between the product we choose to follow and purchase. As you get older, you realize that connection isnt so important...but I hope you realize kids read your reviews, and youre yelling at 12 year olds? You didnt? Oh...well maybe you should think about that.

srry for the repost but i misspelled to many words for my taste

i so agree. piss all over review scores rather numerical, stars, straws or whatever cause they so devalue th games we play.

some games are obviously the scores they are given like the games that get ones, or games like Kane and Lynch that are so horrible they should never be considered in conversation but hey! somebody likes it right?

also i love Sesssler soapbox so keep up the good work Adam.

Dude, if you hate something so much... stop doing it! I feel like I made a mistake spending time watching this rant against something you will continue to do. You are being hypocritical, that can't be argued.

I completely agree with you Adam. This concept of grading games or other forms of entertainment is ridiculous. I do admit that I have used a rating system, but, as you speculated, I think it comes from the fact that our society is so driven by needing to put a finite idea on everything. As a gamer, in particular a gamer that has loved both the previous Uncharted games, and as a supporter of your quality of work, I was offended by a number of the reactions to your review of Uncharted 3 that were calling your integrity into question. Thank you for all your hard work. I do feel bad that many people clearly don't take the time to actually read the reviews that you do.
