It makes me sad that CoD has become a "standard" for shooters. Personally I like shooters that emphasize positional control and maneuvering such as quake and tf2. And the fact that console gamers are just discovering the importance of 60fps in a shooter is kind of surprising. I mean 60fps is a sort of a minimum standard for pc gamers (preferably you want 100-120). What happened to the old days of shooters were they were faster and more skill based?

Man you guys who are bashing are crazy. Vince was freaking awesome on here ! I am so glad he talked about other things besides the Activision crap. This episode was pretty much amazing. When he talks about playing games from 11 to 3am, after his wife goes to bed, you know this guy is a true gamer. I hope his next game is a huge success. I am glad he is playing RAGE, and it is awesome he played the Smurf Village game.

Also, shout out to Nicole, since you were in the background (figuratively and literally) ! I hate to sound like a complete creeper when I say, you made this episode that much more awesome to watch, and you're extra cute when you laugh. Heh. Total creeper status.

Thanks for the awesome Feedback! Keep them coming.

We all have to remember that every new technology associated with entertainment will always have some stigma. The best example of this was when bicycles first came out. They were first thought of as a form of entertainment by enjoying scenery, parks, etc. At that time, however, the older generation looked at bicycles as a waste of time, money, and that the new generation should be utilizing more "wholesome" forms of entertainment like books. I can't remember exactly how long it took for the total populace to embrace the concept of bicycles, but just like gaming there will always be a segment of the population that views new technology as "evil." But it's acceptance will only be a matter of time as history has shown us.

I see a 5th mike off to the right there....so why wasn't Abbie on it?? Abbie appears and doesn't even get to talk. Maybe her choice? Would have liked to have heard from her directly though.

Boy oh boy, Adam's tourettes was in overdrive this episode. "Do do do do do do u think..." "I I I I I I like..."...I thought his head was going to explode at one point. That hearty laugh though always brings a smile to my face. It reminds me of Jim Carey's fire marshall bill character.

The majority of us liked it, hearing from the experts ( And Vince is an expert) is a nice and welcome change. I enjoyed a fresh perspective on where the industry stands on a lot of these subjects which you could see by Adams anxiousness we were all itching to hear the responses for.

I guess a few of us forgot that the guys who work on the games are not journalists, and lets be honest, the Sess can be intimidating to speak with, he is the Sess after all, and game journalism is his thing.

Cut the guy some slack. If they sent in a spokesperson you'd get something scripted and responses that were prepped for since it would go from being a guest speak/ interviewee to someone trying to sell you on something.

31:13 to 31:24, that is why "The Sess" is my favorite Game's journalist; he says what is exactly on my mind.

Just finish Rage and what a crappy ending. I was planning to play Dark Souls first but, instead I played Rage and was I having fun. Then I got to last mission, what a let down. I spent 12 hours on Rage and then to have bad ending to the game, that really ticks me off. 2 out 5

Wish we could have heard from Abbie a bit. It was nice seeing her again. It makes me nolstalgic.

Anyway, always glad to see Blair getting a chance to talk. Adam, is always Adam(never change man!), and the discussion was pertinent, given the guest, as well as lively. Good job all.
