FFXIV has been slowly but surely getting better. The reason it's taking so long is because the game was so bare bones and they had to fix the gameplay before they could start adding actual content. It's literally like all they had was the engine and assets in place but had to redo everything else.

The FFXIV quote was the original "we're sorry our game sucks" quote 10 months ago. The game is over a year old already and with the patch coming on Oct. 4th (first real raid, more endgame content, mounts and airships, etc) , the game will finally be in a "mildly acceptable" state for an MMO.

Still not worth paying for, but it's getting there... just very slowly. Very, very slowly.

Seriously? "More than two months..."? When was that posted?
So PLEASE get new news on Final Fantasy XIV since tomorrow is it's ONE YEAR anniversary and they've been improving it a lot since the launch. First big boss fight comes out in 5 days, Ifrit, for Final Fantasy fans.

I agree with Cujo, the mailbag is just one long unfunny segment serving to boost Casey's already massive ego and to give props to the same people sending schmemes every week, presumably because they have no life and nothing better to do or are in love with hearing their own screennames on the air, give it a rest and give us more mmo news!!!!

Uhhhhhhh..... City of Heroes, now, "City of Heroes: Freedom" officially started their hybrid free to play accounts this Tuesday. Right now, free accounts can play CoH up to level 50.

Was this taped on Monday? :p
