I like it, but a forewarning to anyone who has been playing CoD for the past 3-5 years straight, the gameplay will feel much different. Don't expect to run out there and blast your way through like you're freakin Rambo, especially since there are no insane perks to help you. This is a straight up military shooter, not a military shooter-gone-arcade. Keep that in mind, and you'll do fine. Also, if you're the type that put the sprinting perk on and went around stabbing people in the face all day in CoD, you can throw that straight out the window here, because you will get owned (knifing someone results in a relatively lengthy animation)
Biggest plus to me? The sound is incredible. Biggest negative? Really wish they had given us access to the vehicles for the beta. Other than that? Good times.

I really think crysis looks the best on consoles

COD>Crysis>BF3
(not sure what crysis's framerate on console is but it look less choppy than BF3 in my opinion)

BF3(Rushy/objectives done well)>COD(Arcadey)>Crysi s(standard stuff with a twist)
This one is simply my opinion

I think after the dx11 patch crysis is equivalent in the looks area but i say the edge really goes to battlefield because the destructibility so

I'm loving the beta so far. Knifing someone is so much more realistic. No more gun vs knife head on battles ending with the knife winning. Camping can also be beaten by seeing their scope glares. The addition of going prone helps a lot. It will help you survive a little longer, just like a real soldier would drop to avoid fire. I can't wait for the finished product!

Its just so.....calm. Reminds me of the those really mellow downtimes in BFBC2 when your waiting for

people to join. I was expecting a lot more action and im going to have to see some more footage of

different matches, but so far it sucks to say that it didnt really wow me on the action side, but on the

gameplay side it looks really cool and'll prob. makes for some real tactical thinking and more relying on getting the drop on ur enemy rather than having the highest sensitivity.(and i freakin love that cool mantle animation lol).

I really don't understand what all the hype is about Battlefield 3. I mean, I'm not a fan of first person shooter campaigns at all (except for Medal of Honor: Rising Sun back in the day on the GameCube). I primarily just like to jump online and play with friends or even random people. And... The Battlefield 3 multiplayer just doesn't look as exciting as I thought it would be. I still might pick it up to try it out, but I'll definitely be enjoying tearing face and poppin' skulls in Modern Warfare 3 which, in my opinion (though I know doesn't matter much) seems more appealing to my style of gameplay.

Enjoying year for gamers. :)

im a bit biased on this next point. as ive only ever played bfbc2 (was my first and only modern fps though i did get MoH, but only played campaign) and i know its been there in the original Battlefields, but im not likeing prone. almost every time im killed its by some guy laying down prone somewhere, in a bush, or around a corner or something. i like the middle part of the Metro lvl cause there are no bushes and its smaller. i hope the lvls in BF3 are like the houses of BFBC2, where you had to constantly run going in and out of houses. you couldnt camp in a house cause you wouldnt get any kills....in the Metro levels, you have no house, no cover, so every step your easy pickings for everyone whos just chillin prone somewhere. ill get used to it, but then again, its mostly cause its Rush, and Rush is one big camp fest. i always did hate it, ill be sticking to my Team DM and Capture the Flag where camping is less of an issue.

i do hope they fix the spawn trapping though it wasnt a battlefield title medal of honor is horrible for spawn trapping and i think an hour into the multiplayer after waiting at the midnight launch (which by the way ) was last years COD killer i was agravated and hated the game i guess thats y it sells for 10 bucks now

Don't get it. BF3 has ridiculous End User Agreement on the PC where I went from completely jacked for the game this morning, to ready to cancel my pre-order. Read this:

"You agree that EA may collect, use, store and transmit technical and related information that identifies your computer (including the Internet Protocol Address), operating system, Application usage (including but not limited to successful installation and/or removal), software, software usage and peripheral hardware, that may be gathered periodically to facilitate the provision of software updates, dynamically served content, product support and other services to you, including online services,"

and

with bigger maps doesnt that aid in the art of camping which im sure every FPS shooter has wanted to throw there system out the window for unless there the camper of course ???

im not astonished yet i dont take this too seriously i dont count my K/D i dont sit around the map i just like some good competition and fun .. i dont know i didnt like Medal of Honors multiplayer or Bad Company 2 multiplayer though the campaigns i thought we both awesome ..
