i agree IHateChrisGore, mainstream comics today and i mean Marvel have been putting up huge summer events year after year saying that its gonna change the status quo for the entire marvel universe. Really? thats the best u guys at marvel can do? Flashpoint did something at least! Im not bashing Marvel because i love to read marvel and DC but this formula of there's is becoming very redundant. I read Daredevil cause its more stand alone and focused on him. But what happened to good ol' stories that were well thought out, from the heart, and kept us flocking to the comic shop week after week? At least DC has an "idea" of what theyre doing with their new 52 relaunch. DC's events are convoluted as well so i can understand the reason behind the relaunch to grab new readers. Im sure Marvel has a hugee plan too but right now things there are done to promote their new movies. Also, stop with the 100 tie-in comics relating to the big events!

Am I the only one who thinks mainstream super hero comics are becoming so lazy? It seems like they are constantly dropping everything and just rebooting. Marvel kills characters and has all these huge changes that are supposed to "turn the marvel universe upside down" and then a year or two years later they undo all the changes with their 97th big crossover event with 9 million titles. There is no real peril for the characters because anyone who dies is revived eventually.
