Yesterday, the world was shocked by Steve Jobs' announcement that he was resigning as Apple's CEO. Kevin Pereira talks to KTLA's tech reporter Rich DeMuro about how Jobs' resignation will affect the company, his future involvement with Apple and Tim Cook as the new CEO.

I honestly don't think that Apple will go down as a result of Steve Jobs' resignation as CEO. In fact, I think the company is in good hands and I believe that the legendary Jobs assembled a team prepared to keep the company competing well and innovating. The way I look at it, Apple will continue giving its mobile phone competitors a lot of problems with their iPhones. Apple will also take significant portable gaming market share away from Sony and Nintendo as the iPad becomes more popular. Heck, I do expect Nintendo and Sony to adapt the touch-screen tablet format designs for their future portable gaming devices a decade from now...that is if those two companies can survive with Apple around.
