I just paid $22.87 for an iPad2-64GB and my girlfriend loves her Panasonic Lumix GF 1 Camera that we got for $38.76 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $675 which only cost me $62.81 to buy. Here is the website we use to get it all from, BidsGet.com

Woo!, I feel sorry for the shareholders and CEO's behind this game, it will plummet, they need to retract the game base on feedback in order to save it, and work on another premise.

Shift feature?...optional yes!, but not forced on to the story...who's idea was this?.... fire him asap!.

In order to go on-par with DRIVER SERIES, the handling, brakes and hard corners need to be extremely easy to pull off by using the famous Driver handbrake drift mechanics from the past games.

Mind control Sci-fi fiction along Police undercover work as a story in a driving game, WTF?.....

Writing: Fire all the staff related and responsible for it!.. super cheesy dialog and annoying!.

Who ever is driving in this demo should really consider another career.

i played the demo, very disappointed to say the least. the graphics are terribly glitchy, the whole ''shift'' concept is totally lame, and the driving mechanics are HORRIBLE! someone said the driving is ass, couldnt agree more.this game sucks and will fail horribly.

I appreciate that the AI vehicles are actual cars and not some generic things, and being able to switch into ANY of those great cars instantly seems great.

I played the demo yesterday, and even though the graphics look great, the handling on the cars is ass. This makes it hard to turn corners , especially when your running from cops. Over all i would say it a lot like GTA, only not as good, and whats with no on foot mode? Thanks, but no thanks, until GTA 5 comes out, i'll stick with GTA 4, who's with me?

The "shift" aspect is pretty lame. I understand they did the "Shift" thing to avoid being anymore similar to GTA. The story seems pretty lame. The gameplay is nothing special. Pass

Just to correct my previous post: "...I am a fan of Driver since number 1, loved 2, even enjoyed Driv3r..." Writing too fast... sorry (again).

I'm really not impressed at all with what I've just seen. And I am a fan of Driver since number 1, loved 3, even enjoyed Driv3r despite its flaws (great graphics and driving, not much to do in the cities, terrible on foot action). The shift feature sounded too arcadey from the beginning. Now, watching this, it feels simply ridiculous. It may be a great multiplayer feature - I don't know - but it completely detaches the player from the story and the character. I mean, suspension of disbelief is one thing, ridiculousness is another.
I have a bad feeling that this game is going to flop, and it's all their fault really. The "shift" feature received bad comments from the fans since it was first announced. They've decided to go with it, now they're going to suffer from it. I just wished they would cancel the game and rewrite the whole thing.
Mark my words. The next Driver game will be a "reinvention of the series". That's the industry's jargon for "the last game sucked". And I'll wait for that one... Sorry.

Whoever was playing is kinda retarded, so that doesnt really help with the game. And as for everyone complaining about the shift mechanic making the game to easy I have a solution! Dont use shift?

    I don't have it, I don't love it. It's fun, it isn't great. I will rent it.

I'm not sure what's up with everyone, but I've played and beaten both Driver 1 & 2 on the original Playstation, and I found that the new demo was hilariously fun and quite addicting; SHIFT actually made things interesting and frantic as well.

The original was great but after watching this I wont even bother downloading the demo.

Just had to try it for myself after watching this, it will definetly be a bargin bin pick-up at most for me, even then i'll be hesitant.

It just is not Driver, not even in the gameplay sense. Just another arcadey game for the masses.

Well it's as i thought the shift mechanic is stupid and its just there so you don't have to drive properly and can still win and that in a game called driver that is about driving is unforgivable

Was actually surprised by the demo, thought I was gonna hate it for sure but may actually end up buying this.

Wait a minute.. they are actually trying to incorperate the already rediculous shift system INTO THE STORY?! LOL

And if I wasn't skeptical enough already, i'm pretty certain they've offically ruined the Driver series for me.

Oh well we had a good run and you'll forever be in my PS1/PS2 memories.

Theres a glitch at 3:55 see if you can spot it :P

Oh and the camera angle seems annoying, since the streets of LA are pretty much hill, hill, and hill. If the camera was aimed a bit higher and or father away it would be easier to not crash, i hope they give you the ability to change camera view.
