G4 "Managment" is very foolish indeed to not allow the customary Feedback Theme-song. How foolish could they be? We all know Stephen Johnson "sings" that intro only to keep the all mighty Cthulu from emerging from the murky depths and destroying us all!

If anybody hasn't yet checked out the "20 years of Id QuakeCon 2011 panel," it's really great. Morgan Webb does a really good job hosting it, and there's a bunch of really cool stories and things they talk about.

Unless Sony enforces some heavy restrictions on the Japanese Vita launch, I think you will see quite a few stores in Japan (most likely Hong Kong based) who will be selling the Vita to people in the west. This was exactly what happened to the original PSP. I bought my PSP from the, now closed, Hong Kong based store Lik-Sang. It came with the japanese 1.0 firmware, which made it quite attractive to resell on eBay.

Bit dissapointed that carmack was dissing the ps3, guess I'll get Rage on PC when I can get one that can run it 60fps @ medium/high.

There's a youtube video of John Carmack giving the keynote speach at Quakecon. It's in the speach where he talks about the console stuff. I think you can use keywords "John Carmack 2011 keynote" on youtube to find it. It's kind of a long speach, but still pretty cool.

wtf? no theme song!?! that sux, and is pretty wierd. what exactly is the problem with "feedback! videogames!"? your punching your own balls G4, you got a winner there and your just standing there punching your own friggin balls.

Awesome Feedback!! Quakecon sounds like a lot of fun. I'm so looking forward to Rage. I've seen the new Rage Uprising trailer like six times. Amazing amazing trailer.

Dishonored was not on my radar until hearing your excitement about it. Great...more awesome games to look forward to, as if we weren't about to be drowned in all the quality titles the future has to offer.

I am a bit confused as to why Feedback can't have it's theme song. Does someone hold a trademark on the phrase Feedback, Videogames?

I didn't even think that comment would get recognized. And yes, they did say that there would be Vehicle Customization in the original. There was an early screenshot of a workshop with wheel, tread, and hover vehicles. I don't think we truly need 10,000 parts, but at lest something that would add a little flair to an otherwise bland aspect of the original.

It would be interesting to hear more about what a genius like Carmack had to say about the consoles.

It doesn't surprise me to hear that he has dissing the PS3, he's made it clear before that he prefers the 360.

Come on G4, remember Sony said the PS3 was going to be a global launch and they delayed that and launched it in regions just like they're doing with the Vita.
