They better have a better selection of weapons in this game. I was very disappointed with the arsenal of MW2.

Stop hating on the graphics, they are not everything. It's the fun of the game. And this looks fun. Golden Eye 64 is still fun and the graphics aren't that great. Who cares of the same stuff? What is the military going to change there weapons overnight? No. Stop hating.

I find it ironic how much hatred there is for this series on the internet, yet the last two games have been the best-selling games of all time. Modern warfare 3 is on track to top Black Ops, so I highly doubt all this hatred is warranted. Oh no, the game looks similar to the last one! Look at Pokemon...Nobody complains, and they all continue to buy buy buy. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The reason the Battlefield games keep changing is because, they're well...broken; and they need fixing. Once or if BF finds that winning formula, I guarantee you that EA will continue to put out minimal changes each year. The same thing happened to every EA sports franchise, and the same thing will happen with this franchise if they deem Battlefield a series worth continuing.

This is not to say Modern Warfare is perfect, as it has many flaws; but it has found a formula that continues to sell each year. I hate to equate sales to quality, but to a certain extent, it's true. Quality is dictated by a few 'experts' and they are expected to be the voices of our entire society. The fact is that even 'experts' are people, so it becomes easier to equate sales to quality. People are driven toward buying things that have been said to have quality. Many of the people buying these games aren't first time buyers, but people who have been anticipating a new (although mildly in comparison) experience for a long time.

People have opinions, no matter who they are. If you don't prefer MW3, don't play it. If you don't prefer BF3, don't play it. Don't tear down others for making that purchase. The main reason people demonize others for purchasing something is to convince themselves that they made the correct choice in making a purchase. The problem with this is the existence of opinion. Robert Bowling himself has said that he wants both games to co-exist, because they both offer different experiences, as no game is equal to another.

Fanboys will be fanboys, however, so I guess this post will probably do nothing to quell the fire fueled by adolescent rage and keyboards. If you aren't a fanboy, then good news! You can go out, make an educated choice on which purchase is better for you, come home, and have a fantastic personal experience playing a game that gives you hours of enjoyment for the relatively small price of $60. Xbox 360 vs PS3 vs PC, BF3 vs MW3, no matter what it is, pick whatever you like best. And in the words of Eddie Murphy, "Have a coke and a smile, and shut the f$@$ up." Thank you.

This looks nice but I'm definately not making a judgement on the game yet. I know I'm getting BF3, but this might be a late pickup used.

I thought Special ops was the best part of MW2. I missed it in Black Ops. It was the best way to play co-op without the constraints of a campaign story. I'm glad MW3 will be bringing it back; but, I don't get why people are comparing it to Zombies. Special Ops had objective based missions. Even the ones that were survival based were diverse enough in setting and enemies that the challenge felt fresh.

I dont see how this could convince anyone to buy the game. Even the NBA 2k games make better upgrades every year lol I'll just stick to battlefield and wait for the release of Halo 1 remake!! :)

I am buying BF3 for sure but my god people please stop saying the BF3 multi-player looks so much better. We have barely seen any of the MP yet and what we have seen has been running on PCs. This game will be good. For all those saying it is just another COD game you are flat wrong. The first MW did not have ANY of these things like spec ops and now survival mode. The reports are they spent almost 100 million on this game. You think that money went to diddling themselves? I might wait to buy MW3 but this game is still better than many of the games out there.
