with all the games that are getting a new look by being rereleased with HD graphics and new control mapping, its a damn shame Max Payne 1 and 2 has yet to join the club. These games were amazing, and ahead of their time. It's a shame that the new generation that is growing up on Halo and Call of Duty may never experience these games. A franchise that was so wonderful because of how gritty and disturbing the content. Remedy, all I want for X-mas is an amped version to be released for PS3.

I always thought that the first two Max Payne's were made by Rockstar Games.

Good gravy, I LOVE those games. I've probably logged more hours in the Max Payne series than any other series (Final Fantasy games included).

I know I will buy and play Max Payne 3 no matter how good it is, but my fingers are crossed that it'll be good.

God I forgot how fun the Mods were for this game. That's the biggest thing I miss about playing games on the PC, the Mods for games like Max Payne and Thief.

God I want them to reboot Thief for the Consoles using Assassin's Creed.

Anyway Max Payne 1 was awesome, the storyline was just amazing. Max Payne 2 was good, had some very iconic moments but not as good as 1. The Movie? The movie made me loose respect for Remedy or whoever it was that owned the rights and sold the name. It pretty much was just pimping out the name of Max Payne for easy money.

I don't have high hopes for Max Payne 3. I know it switches between New York in the past and Columbia or Rio in the present and all but I doubt it'll have the iconic graphic novel art which is Max Payne.

Plus he's a drugged out bodyguard in Rio, how fun is that? Maybe he can do some V eh?
