This looks so cute compared to Forza, and the 4th installment is where my racing money is going this fall.
I like the idea, finally a NFS game that borrows the idea of Bull Run or Cannonball Run and translates it to a game (at least I hope that is what they are going for)!! I just hope it's not linear like 90% of all the NFS games!! It would be nice if they give you a starting point and "YOU" decide how your going to get to the finish line. Not little branching paths, but full on miles and miles of roads!! Just open ended roads that you can choose to go on. Like for example, you can open up a GPS at any time and choose a route and it would take you there. The only thing that is set, is the start and the finish of each race (depending on how many races per state). I would also like a HUGE roster of cars this time!! Not just a bunch of tuners and exotics, but ALL cars that people still race with today!! For example I would like to see old and mid year American sports and muscle cars, and new if available (ie. A 60's, 2002, and 2010 Camaro/Trans Am/Corvette). And not just old and new! Also would like to see the weather and time change while your "crusin" across the USA.. Add in a harder difficulty option for GT enthusiasts, that would require you to change out tires, patch up damage, and even force you to get gas while your trying to get from point A to point B, and I'm in!!I know I'm asking for the end all be all NFS game, but after the last decade of one or two hits and a lot of misses/crap.. I think we've earned it!! Please EA make a good, no wait scratch that.., please make the BEST NFS game for once!!P.S. Oh and PLEASE let us play our own damn music for crists sake!! With today's systems, it's lame to force you to listen to most of the crap that is included with the CD!! Thank you.
Certainly not the most exciting first look, it did look nice but not all that entertaining. Basically just a linear and very story heavy Hot Pursuit, with elements of split/second in some courses (judging from the E3 videos anyways, they showed course destruction like avalanches and such), and quicktime event cutscenes.
cool video but now it just looks like there picking apart the old hot pursuit game and finding what people enjoyed about it. i think that ideas already a failure but what i keep hearing people say is a need for speed underground remake would be good. i'm gonna assume that's where there gonna take the series after this launches.
