Where's Halo: Custom Edition? Learn to tag your videos correctly, G4.

I don't think you guys even know what we've done within Halo's Blam! Engine.

Maps made for 32-64 players, new single player campaigns, even recreations of Halo 2 and beyond - all on the PC. Shame it all goes to waste because MS/Bungie refuses to make a better HEK for us.

G4, all I got to say to you is this:

    Lurk Moar.

This was awesome. The first Halo for me was one of my best experiences in gaming. Mainly because it was such a huge leap from anything I had played before it. And I spent almost every weekend going to a friends house and playing Halo the whole weekend. I really don't care what haters say, Bungie is one of the greatest developers ever. I will always continue to support them and I really am excited to see what there new IP is going to be. Rock on Bungie! :)

Halo got me feet wet with FPS's. It was great, and i've loved every halo game. I even kept up with the backstory and bought all the books. I loved the series, and i've loved the franchise. Bungie are great developers, and have always showed their fanbase love, so as far as Halo, they will be missed. Congrats Bungie.

Halo 2 was the first game to provide a cohesive, easy to use, expansive multiplayer offering online, for a console. Sure there were online games before it, but few that did it as well...hence its popularity. While Halo 1 did continue the tradition of local (4 player) multiplayer on a console, it certainly was not the first...not long before it we were doing the same thing with MarioKart 64, GoldenEye, and Smash Brothers. Halo brought an exception FPS multiplayer experience and offered the LAN opportunity, but itself wasn't that ground breaking. I think the sum of the parts from Halo 1 (good graphics, very good AI compared to most games, good music, decent story,deep/robust multiplayer) is what set it apart. Halo 2 is the foundation for online multiplayer FPS, and Halo 3 somewhat improved it....not as big of leap. ODST brought the cooperate as a group against the CPU in a non story mod, and Reach polished the whole thing. For me, I think the next big advances in online FPS are happening outside of Halo...bigger maps requiring more strategic gameplay (Battlefield), more players (Resistance), embedded leveling/reward system (COD), but no one series has put all these pieces together. I'd love the polish and robustness of Bungie, the fast paced gameplay and leveling of COD, and the scale of Battlefield & Resistance to be mixed in a pot and out comes the next evolution in online gaming.

i've got to ask: where are all the haters? i don't see haters, all i see are people who got the game, but didn't like it. i myself didn't find it that fun(but it's much better than call of duty). Haters are the people who say stupid things when they haven't even tried the game. that said, the only hater i've seen on this page is chance and dice. then again, a hater could be posting after i've said this... GET OFF HERE HATERS! so there then...

    I own both an XBOX 360 and a PS3.
I own every Halo game and almost every Call of Duty Game.
They are both good games with their own pros and cons.
You should try both and stop hating.

both CoD and Halo have their bad multiplayer points. Halo at the moment has crappy armor abilities like armor lock that completely ruin the game. However, they also have playlists that you can use to avoid the garbage. CoD has noob tubing, a million glitches because of no beta, absolutely terrible perks like danger close and one man army and a lot of other community issues that would have been flushed out with a beta. Still no playlists to avoid the garbage though. I hope MW3 either has a beta so they can flush out the screw ups, or I hope they severely scale back the crap the community has used to ruin the game. CoD is a good game under all the garbage. Halo Reach is also a good game under all the garbage and the difference between the two is you can filter the garbage in Reach.

Hey, G4. Why don't you ban all of the mindless Halo haters from commenting on posts related to Halo games! These id10t fanboys are really testing everyone's patience.

I have to agree, Halo really went down hill with their multiplayer after the first game. Better graphics does not a good game make. And Reach.....who's drunk idea was that piece of trash!?

No bungie after halo Ce, multiplayer sucked you took the balls off all the weapons and now they feel like waterguns. Thats why call of duty kicked your butt 3 shots to the head and you should be dead. Grenades should kill you if your standing by one not put you in danger. So dumbing your game down for the masses got your butt kicked. Even halo reach multiplayer sucks the weapons are still too weak and ill never play another halo again.
