Games expandable right? So to say it has a weak ending it's so effing wrong
Dirtyj78
agreed a better looking Fallout with better shooting mechanics, count me in- just hope it's got enough content cause that's what seems to be the big question about this game.

People are saying it looks too much like Borderlands/Fallout...
Is that a bad thing?
I just hope it's free roam.

It's Fallout with an asteroid instead of a nuclear war.
The shooting mechanics and visuals could be big improvements over FO 3 though. Let's hope the rest of the game is as good --weapons, inventory, customization, exploration, etc..

Premise sounded good, but the story they were touting so impressively just came off cliche and unoriginal. I mean, come on, you're going to use a story done time and again, and you can't think of better names than "the authority" and "the resistance"? Really? I'm going to go around completing quests for people. Ya, never heard of that before.
Sorry to dump on the parade if there was one, but it sucks when up till 1:30 I was genuinely excited, and by the end I was retching.

I don't know. Too Borderlands/ Fall out for me. Yeah! Done twice over. Looks good, though.
A different game play from the formers would have been nice. You know, like you'd be able to defend your town from a mutant siege, or help it flourish by clearing out bandit infested roads (with evidence of new travelers settling in), or be a head hunter and do a hit, or an intricate weapon customization and so on...
ID could have done a ton of things with this game and but instead they chose to be hacks, in my opinion at least.
I wish there's more to the game that what we've seen so far.

Looks goods but will it play good that's the only thing i want to know right now. Also with games like gears 3, batman arkham city, coming out around the same time idk if I'll have anytime to give Rage a try.

This game looks so unoriginal.
Scratch that: this game IS so unoriginal.
Fallout 3, Borderlands. Been there, done that.
Around 2:00 when they start talking about how they didn't give the character a name or anything... how is that interesting anymore? How is that even a topic for discussion?
Everything about this game is same old, same old. How in the world can I get excited about it?

Please be multiplayer, please be multiplayer, please be multiplayer... wait you play a lone survivor from a arch... damn

Its a little irritating how they go into how the setup of their world because they do it as though its somehow an original concept or that they've reinvented it. I know this game is going to be fantastic, and I'm not one to get hung up on the originality of a project, but considering a game like Fallout 3 truly did reinvent the process as well as basically reboot the genre, you think they could throw out some props in a friendly developer rivalry kind of way. Maybe make a challenge of some kinds.
In any case, this game is shaping up nicely. My only issue is that I wish I hadn't watched the video because even the BASIC spoilers it revealed were too much for me. I want to go into this game as oblivious as I did Fallout, because I want to feel that same kind of bewildering excitement at the setting as i did then.

It looks so beautiful.
