On a side note Silent Running is a direct influence for the T.V. Show MST3K

Give Gore a break. Over the years of watching AOTS he's provided some decent reviews of films and though I don't always agree with every one, he has provided us with some often hard to find suggestions. I look forward to his reviews and think he does a good job. Keep up the good work.

Why does this moron always have to talk about nudity in almost every film he reviews? Is he really that obsessed with nudity and porn? It seems like 90% of the movies he recommends to buy have some kind of nudity in them. It honestly seems like G4 hired the most stereotypical nerd they could find. He's basically a skinny loser, obsessed with nudity and "hot chicks" because he obviously can't get laid. He has no charisma and lacks the ability to be funny or charming. He raves on and on about comic book movies, cartoons, comedies and porn, because he obviously doesn't have the attention span to sit through anything else. I just love watching this jackass make a fool of himself every week. I love that stupid little smirk he gets on his face every time he's introduced. He looks like he's so in love with himself.

In his review of "Silent Running" Chris Gore says that the robots were played by "little people" (ie, dwarfs or midgets) and suggests this is where Lucas got the idea for using a little person for R2D2. This is actually wrong, the director did not use little people, he used amputees (and got roundly slammed for it in the press, although the actors themselves were quoted as saying they enjoyed the experience.)
