Great SC decision. But... he talks about Locke and Rouseau because they were the ones who inspired your Constitution, both in legal principle and philosophically. That is undeniable. Sorry to tell you guys, but you really were the first to practice ideas that were created in Europe. As far fetched as you might think it is, when relating to Locke and Rousseau about the American Constitution he makes his argument relevant.

The problem is within your legal system that is based in precedent. For Continental Law, to even consider what an XIX century man thought at the time, and making that thought carry any kind of weight in a 2011 decision is flat out outrageous. You deem laws within the context of our society, not theirs.

Am I the only one that doesn't mind games coming out every year? No one complains about a tv series coming out every year or when a writer puts out a book every year, why complain when a video game franchise puts out something every year? Especially when they have multiple teams working on it.

Also, glad you guys gave so much love to Guild Wars 2.

i think Stephen Johnson just hit on a workable model for social capitalism! Now, we just need someone to set up a segregated community (Lifeville?) to test this "free-to-live" theory out. South Korea, get on it.

I felt a battle would break out any second between Stephen Johnsons beard and Casey Schreiner beard for ultimate supremacy

Summer drought, Nikole? I don't see a summer drought this year. I've got the first serious backlog I've had in a few years. This month started strong with Infamous, then I picked up Alice, then Dungeon Siege. There are also quite a few downloadable titles or add-ons, like Outland, the remake of Beyond Good and Evil and Honest Hearts DLC (all of which us PS3 guys had to wait a little longer for) and today Gatling Gears caught my attention.

Plus there are other titles like Shadows of the Damned and Duke that I plan to play once I get my queue back to a manageable level. The next few months don't seem as strong, but this was a strong June.

I'm also equally as excited for Resistance as Adam. With Insomniac's track record, I expected 3 to be out by now, but I believe the wait will be worth it. Plus we get R&C a month after that.

First off, THANK YOU for not burying Shadows.

Second, there's a lot of series I personally don't want to see more of. I love Portal, Soul Calibur, and Halo, but its time to end those series and move onto something new.

Wow finally GW2 gets some coverage on this website. My friend that was a big wow player and is going to play TOR has absolutely no faith in GW2. I am very suprised and happy that Casey says GW2 will beat TOR.
