Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning will be the first game from Curt Schilling's 38 Studios, made with dream team R.A. Salvatore, Todd McFarlane, and Ken Rolston. Here Blair Herter gets an early look at the swords, monsters and magic.

    Aaaahhh... that's the reason. I was just thinking that the characters look so small compared to the space they occupy. Which is usually the case in newer IPs. They need more weight & size. Then when I heard the MMO thing it made more sense. I want this game to be good. It's on my 2012 must-have list. Still wish they would have fleshed out & beefed up the models(not the muscles per se) on the characters & such tho. I hope that the MMO origins means they have a lot of i game content to explore.

    This game by the time it comes out could prove very strong against Skyrim. Most likely wont sell better because mouths aren't watering as much for Amalur as they are for Skyrim right now. By the time it comes out however, a good marketing campaign could put this one over the top. The game looks super solid, the graphics look great, the mechanics look wonderful and the world looks amazing as you would expect from Elder Scrolls 4 lead designer.

    I think this could very well be selling right up there with Skyrim by the time it comes out. I can't wait. I will be preodering this one too
