All these Playsation trolls defending a failed system. Grow up little nerds, I'd rather pay for a system that doesn't get hacked to the point of being shutdown then have a free crappy, laggy, and copy of XBL. Trophies? LOl Achievements came first. Motion controls? Nice copying Nintendo. Sony needs to be original. idk how they went from the great PS2 to the crappy PS3.

Skarlet is a great character and a legit DLC, but Im hopin' that we get Rain as a DLC sooner or later. Also, I own a 360 and feel its better we didnt get an exclusive, because Kratos actually works for MK, but I wont want Master Chief or Marcus Fenix fighting Scorpian, that would just be really stupid.

It was a toss up between her or the kz3 maps and i got her BUT only cause i am killzoned out right now and just picked up mortal kombat two days ago. and yes i will get the ashes pack just not atm. get fighter btw :)

I think that by "on the disc" some people are referring to the fact that she appears in the background spots of some stages. Also, via hacking, you could play her before this DLC, and she even had her own special moves, however, she copied all of Mileena's basic and combo attacks, and did not trigger a fatality option on winning or losing(al la boss fights), and as such, was essentially an very incomplete version.

The DLC version is obviously the complete package.

So in this case, both parties are essentially right. Yes, she was on the disc and playable, and also, yes, the 5$ DLC version is (obviously and intentionally) the true and complete Skarlet experience.

I agree with Nub, even though i'm a PS3 owner, 360 should have atleast gotten a DLC character for free.

She's $5, and she's already on the disc. What's even funnier is that she's a fan creation, so it's not like they even needed to put much effort into introducing her.

Regardless, the game is fun to screw around with.
