Not instigating that the cod series is disappointing, but it is. The audio detail in BF immerses you into the game like no other game I've ever played. It's nice to hear something other than balloons popping when i toss a grenade and fizzy rocks going off when i pull the trigger. I do have Blops btw and DO play it here and there but it just gives me a headache 30 min in. I don't know, Battlefield keeps me entertained no matter how long I play it. The little details are cool like when an explosion goes off on the ground holes appear upon impact amidst a spray of smoke and soil.

I've yet to hear a semi legit reason to bash on the Battlefield series.

Modern Warfare 3 is so far just a rewrap of mw2 with new maps and weapon attatchments. With a new campaign.

ok you know what? Battle field does look nice, not dissing on it, but when your competion is COD, i think it should have lost, i mean just look at both games first play look, modern warfare 3 should have curb stomped Battlefield 3. it looked so damn sexy

I have a deep Love for both Rage and BF3.
I have high hopes for Rage because id pretty much mad FPS's.
And DICE has yet to make a game that ever gets boring

WTF iz Resistance 3?
ChokeOnUrLunch
I like the part where he makes fun of hyper twitchy 14 year olds on COD, and says you have to ACTUALLY play as a team to win in BF. God I love DICE.

I will never buy another BattleField agian if u ask me why i will tell u one thing and one thing only it sucked Call of Duty all the way

after BF3 the next best shooters would be Gears 3, ModernWarfare 3, Rage, Bioshock Infinit, Prey 2 and Farcry 3 look pretty sweet. but for me my favorite shooters would be scifi/scary shooters, military shooters, and action/adventure shooters. hardcore multiplayer shooters don't really pull my interest over a epic single player story. co-op modes interest me alittle bit more then multiplayer like 60% co-op, and 40% multiplayer.
before call of duty i was playing the medal of honor, Halo, and Doom 3.

Battlefield 3 is the best Military shooter cause it's gives you everything you want from that type of shooter. ground squad military combat, ground and air vehicle combat, large maps, and the ability to do more in multiplayer then just run around(Team or FFA) without the backup of your team facing off against ppl with cheap CoD tricks/Glitchs. when i want to play a ultra-realistic military shooter, i want everything that comes with being in a squad of B.A. Soldiers fighting as a team against the enemy. plus with the graphics and sound this real and intense there is just no contest. Battlefield 3 blows Modern Warfare 3 out of the Battlefield with it's weapons that are actually realistic like the AT4 Rocket Launcher and .50Cal Sniper Rifle.

That's Bull man everybody that know's anything will tell u that the game engine, and sound, graphic design, and weaponry is better in MW3 than BF3

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 all the way yes granted Ghost Recon Future Soldier does look great the rest are pretty much awful

Long live Battlefield 3.

best shooter of e3... to a rehash? that's a load of crap, just because they upped the graphics doesn't change the likelihood that bf3 will play and feel exactly like its predecessors, just like every BF game out there. If anything, ghost recon is at the top of the list for military shooters, because unlike call of duty and battlefield, they're adding in brand new mechanics, on top of a superb weapon system. But that's really just the tip of the iceberg, there were some quite imaginative titles shown this year, such as Prey, Bioshock, and Rage. those titles are easily more outstanding than a generic hyper-realistic shooter.
